We have an embarrassment of riches in the qb room. If he chooses to still come, doesnt sound like it would be on scholarship??Interesting update on QB Keelon Russell from OTF...
- the staff told him they don't plan on taking two QBs in this class, they want one and to focus on developing that QB
- they told Russell their QB will be him or Lacey, they love his ability and can see him being a part of the Texas program
- Russell said this was his best visit to date, and he told the staff he'd come in and compete
- an offer is a possibility
Keelon Russell, Duncanville, Quarterback
I doubt we would get a high 4 star QB to walk on. If he comes I expect he'll be on scholarship and the only QB we sign.We haIf he chooses to still come, doesnt sound like it would be on scholarship??
Have to honor Lacey's offer though, no?- they told Russell their QB will be him or Lacey
crapIT saying today A&M has bumped Oklahoma in the race for OL Michael Fasusi.
A&M hired a guy named Joe Hamilton in the offseason to be their assistant GM, and he happens to be a Lewisville native with a great recruiting reputation.
It now appears to be an A&M/Texas battle.
Michael Fasusi, Lewisville, Offensive Tackle

Houston to Norman is just weird. I doubt the swangers are on point in Oklahoma.
Lots of college graduates leave Oklahoma and Houston is the closest city of 2 million.Never would have guessed that.
