I know it’s a bit early to be thinking about the 2024 class but Texas needs to do whatever to snag her!! She seems interested in Florida, Tennessee, and LSU but this weekend is the perfect opportunity to make Texas a top school for her even though it’s a camp. #1 overall player in her class and an absolute stud in the circle and at the plate.

Mike White retweeted this post of Hannah Wells. She sent this to Coaches Bartlett, Singleton and White. Wells hit two home runs and drove in six runs, leading Coahoma’s offensive onslaught in a 14-10 victory against Franklin in the Class 3A state semifinals at McCombs Field on Wednesday. Home runs number 18 & 19 for the year. Appears she likes Texas!

She is a 2025. Plays on Oklahoma Athletics Madden/Clemmer 16u.

Townsen Thomas OF Houston has Texas in her top 10 list. She'll be able to go to any college she wants. BlowU, Washington, LSU, Florida, Tennessee, UCLA, Alabama, Oregon, were the others

More than anything else if we ever want to beat OU we'll have to beat them in some of these recruiting battles. If OU wants them they're a player I want.

Not early at all. I believe Coleman at blow u committed as a freshman.

Really hope they show interest in Cameryn Harrison. I’m here now at the Summer Cup which is a huge tournament and exposure. I saw coach Singleton but hasn’t watched any of this team’s games. Washington and Florida have been watching her all day. And guess who’s her catcher? Mia Scott’s little sister.

Decided to do some 2024 recruiting info with in my opinion the top 4 16u teams in Texas. Not only are they top 4 in Texas but also top 10 national. I added their recruiting individual ranking via extra innings. These were last Fall. The new rankings will come out this fall. They will be allowed to communicate with college coaches and commit as early as September 1st. Currently there are two national tournaments in Colorado where college coaches recruit and tons of them are there. The big Colorado Sparkler and IDT both in Colorado. However there are two big national tournaments at the end of the summer. PGF in California and the Alliance which is in various locations depending on age group. Alliance has a format similar to the NCAA tournament with regionals, supers, and wcws. Most information is coming from Twitter, Facebook, and an app called GameChanger. The Colorado Sparkler has three divisions. A supplemental, fireworks, and power pool. I believe if you do well during the supplemental and firework you will get seeded into the Power pool bracket. The power pool is where the best teams are and the college coaches go to. Well majority of them and bigger power 5 schools. I’m assuming while the firework and supplemental were getting started, is whenever the two mini tournaments (Super Cup, and Sparkler TV bracket for the power pool teams competed in the first two days). The IDT is a newer tournament and smaller. It seems like a lot of practice and pool games seeded into a double elimination bracket especially since the tournament has lesser teams. Let’s hope Texas can get a few good recruits from the class! They have alot of Texas girls in the top 100!

Hotshots Jones National 16u based out of Houston area.
Currently 21-2 this summer
Hotshots Invitational champs, TopClub national champs in OKC

2024s.
Samya Jones (SS/P) - ranked tied #3
Kennedy Marceaux (MIF/C) - ranked #6
Karynton Dawson (OF) - ranked #17
Peyton Tanner (P) - ranked #20
America Ramirez (C) - ranked #29
Kelsey Martin (OF) - not ranked

This is mostly a second year 16u team with a history of state titles and national runner ups. All of the players will have to move to 18u this fall which means their 2024s are born in 2005 and their birthday must be after August which is why they had to wait to start school the following year. They are the #1 16u team in Texas and top 5 nationally. Samya, Karynton, and Peyton have all been to Texas camps as well as other huge power 5 schools. They currently lost in the TV bracket (2 day single elimination mini tournament) of the Sparkler to Athletics Mercado Cook but are undefeated in the Power Pool Bracket (main bracket). They have a key 3-0 win over Iowa Premier Lacina where Peyton Tanner threw a shutout with 11 strikeouts. And beat them again 4-0. Iowa Premier Lacina also put a beating on Impact Gold Jazz 11-1 in Oklahoma City. So far in the Colorado sparkler, Karynton has 2 HR, and Samya has a HR. Samya is mainly shortstop but has pitched 1 inning and allowed 3 hits and 1 run. Peyton has not pitched yet which is weird because she is the Ace of the pitching staff of 2 2024s, 1 2023 and 1 2025 which makes me think if she pitched could they have possibly beat Athletics Mercado Cook out of California. Not sure if she’s having an injury or not. They have beat Hotshots Premier Esparza 4-0 at the TopClub nationals behind Peyton’s 1 hit shutout and 5 strikeouts. And again beat Texas Glory Naudin 1 6-1 in the championship at the TopClub nationals. Peyton pitched one inning in that game and gave up no runs. Their big national tournament will be the PGF tournament. They have a sophomore vs juniors called the future stars game and Karynton, Samya, and Kennedy Marceaux are representing the 2024s. Samya, Kennedy, Peyton and Karynton have all went to a Texas camp. They are currently the extra inning national club team of the week!!

Impact Gold Jazz 16u based out of Houston area.
Currently 27-3-1 this summer.
Summer Cup Texas champions , Super Cup National Champions, 5th place at Top Club nationals in OKC.

2024s
Ella McDowell (SS) - ranked tied #3
Cameryn Harrison (P) - ranked #8
Ella Troutt (P) - ranked #27
Gabby Scott (C) - ranked #36
Lien Brister (3B) - ranked #39
Ashtyn Reichardt (OF) - ranked #40
Rhyanna Morgan (OF) - ranked #82
Sydney Jackson (P) - ranked #91
Ariel Redmond (OF) - not ranked
Lauren Gentry (1B/C) - not ranked
Mia Lopez (OF) - not ranked
Aubrey Yarnall (P) - not ranked

This is mostly a 1st year 16u team so they have the younger 2024s born in 2006. Majority of the girls have another year in 16u. Only 4 players on the team go up to 18u this Fall which included Sydney and Ariel from this list. I would say they are probably the 3rd best team in Texas right now. They are competing in the Colorado Sparkler. In the first day they won the Summer Cup national stage 3. They started power pool play Friday and currently undefeated. Interesting to see if they face Hotshots Jones. Hotshots Jones lost to Athletics Mercado Cook 6-7 Tuesday but Impact Gold Jazz beat Athletics Mercado Cook Friday 11-0. Cameryn Harrison pitched a 2 hit shutout with 6 strikeouts. Rhyanna Morgan hit a home run. All ranked players on this team are getting looked at and attended power 5 camps including Texas. Fun fact…Gabby Scott is the little sister of current Texas player Mia Scott. The Scott sisters and Rhyanna Morgan all attended and played together in High School (Angleton High School). Another interesting fact..Ella McDowell (Foster High School) as a freshman actually beat Mia Scott her senior year for district player of the year as their schools were rivals. So far in the Colorado Sparkler, they’ve played 5 games and all bracket games. Ella McDowell has hit 5 HR, Rhyanna Morgan has hit 2 HR. And Gabby Scott and Lauren Gentry each have 1. Pitching wise, Cameryn Harrison has pitched 13 innings with 17 strikeouts, gave up 8 hits and 3 earned runs. Ella Troutt has pitched 8 innings with 6 strikeouts, 11 hits and 6 earned runs. Sydney Jackson has pitched 4 innings with 0 strikeouts, 1 hit, and 0 earned runs. Aubrey Yarnall has pitched 2 innings with 0 strikeouts, 4 hits, and 3 earned runs. Ella McDowell also competed in the 16u futures all star game in the sparkler. She only got 1 at bat and lined out. But she made two great defensive plays. They’ll be competing at the Alliance Fastpitch championships at the end of the season. One at shortstop from her knees and one at third. They haven’t played hotshots jones or hotshots Esparza but they did play Texas Glory Naudin 1 and lost 3-5 in an extra inning game. It’ll be interesting to see if they run into Hotshots Jones in the next couple days. Cameryn, Ella, Lien, Ashtyn, and Lauren have all went to a Texas camp. From social media it looks like Gabby Scott hasn’t been to a camp yet but we have to think she will possibly follow Mia to Texas. Rhyanna Morgan hasn’t went to a camp from social media but she tags Coach Singleton in a lot of her videos on Twitter.

Hotshots Premier Esparza based out of Houston Area
Currently 27-6-1
Hotshots invitational runner ups, top 20 finish at TopClub nationals.

2024s.
Bailey Lindemuth (P) - ranked #7
Matti Matthews (P/SS) - ranked #16
Kiley Huffman (OF) - ranked #29
Emma King (OF) - ranked #32
Katie Wilson (C) - ranked #34
Kadence Williams (P) - ranked #41
Kyli Alonzo (MIF/C) - ranked #45
Bella Ramon (P/1B) - ranked #88
Baleigh Burris (MIF) - not ranked
Arianna Garcia (C) - not ranked

Their roster was a mixture of 2024s, 2023s, and 2025s. It seems like a young team with some older experience considering they were in 14u last year like Impact Gold Jazz. I would say they are the 4th best team in Texas due to results. 7 of these 2024s were ranked in the top 50. That’s impressive! So far in Colorado they’ve played 12 games at the IDT event. I think 2 or 3 were practice game scrimmages. Bailey Lindemuth has hit 4 HR, Katie Wilson has hit 3 HR, and Kiley Huffman has hit 1 HR. Pitching wise, Bailey has pitched 15 innings, 12 strikeouts, and gave up 14 hits, and gave up 8 earned runs. Kadence Williams has pitched 14 innings, 6 strikeouts, gave up 20 hits, and gave up only 4 earned runs. Matti Matthews has pitched 1.4 innings, gave up 2 hits, 0 earned runs, and 2 strikeouts. Not sure if she’s recovering from injury but according to GameChanger Bailey, Kadence, and a 2023 Gigi Solis who’s committed to Southern Miss carry the workload in the circle. Their schedule is a little different. Unfortunately the only chance they could have played impact gold Jazz was at top club nationals but they never met up as they are both playing different tournaments. However they did lose a close 0-4 against Hotshots Jones. They gave the ball to their 2023 in the circle. Curious to see if they will run into Texas Glory Naudin 1 at the IDT event. They will be competing at the PGF championship at the end of the season. Bailey, Kyli Alonzo, Kiley Huffman, and Emma King have all went to a Texas camp.

Texas Glory Naudin I 16u
Currently 29-3
TopClub runner ups.

2024s
Paislie Allen (SS) - ranked #15 .526 8 HR
Nevaeh Watkins (OF) - ranked #38 .320 3 HR
Brooke Wells (P) - ranked #46 .422 6 HR
Savanna Luther (C) - ranked #48 .367 2 HR
Avery Rich - .294
Saniya Hill (MIF) - .443 10 HR
Emilee Prochaska (SS) - .433 2 HR
Lucy Crowder (P) - .323

Pitching
Lucy Crowder seems to be the ace. She’s pitched 97 innings with 58 strikeouts and a .794 ERA. Brooke Wells pitched 22 innings with 25 strikeouts and a 3.08 ERA.

From the looks of it, they are the 2nd best Texas 16u team due to their team results. It was extremely hard to find information on this team individually as far as rankings and honors go. I’m pretty sure more of the girls are ranked. I just couldn’t verify or find information. I got their rankings from the girls twitters as their team Facebook page doesn’t post information. Their team Twitter page was very nice and unique similar to college pages during live games with updates and gifs. Their GameChanger stats are public so I attached their averages and home runs as well as pitching stats for the season. While I did some research, Brooke Wells played with impact gold jazz last year when they were a 14u team before leaving to play for Hotshots Jones. It seems as she’s new to the Glory team as she was on the roster for Hotshots Jones in the beginning of summer and is now on the roster for Texas Glory. So this probably maybe her 3rd tournament with Glory. As far as their Colorado IDT stats go, they have played 10 games. Erin Prochaska is hitting .800, Brooke Wells is hitting .684 with 6 HRs, Saniya Hill is hitting .579 with 3 HRs, Paislie Allen is hitting .565 with 3 HRs, Avery Rich is hitting .471 with 3 HRs, Savana Luther is hitting .421, Lucy Crowder is hitting .400, and Nevaeh Watkins is hitting .348 with 2 HRs. Pitching wise Lucy Crowder has a .538 ERA wit 9 K’s in 13 innings pitched. Brooke Wells has a 2.38 ERA with 20ks in 14.1 innings pitched. This team looks incredibly solid due to their stats and team results. They haven’t played Hotshots Esparza yet but have beaten Impact Gold Jazz 5-3 in a close game and lost to Hotshots Jones 1-6. It’ll be nice to keep up with these ladies. Hopefully they meet up with Hotshots Esparza in the IDT. Will update anything exciting.

lets hope some of these will be good for Texas! According to Twitter, Cameryn Harrison is being followed by Texas (Coach White and Coach Singleton follow her), Washington, Florida, Oregon, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas State, Baylor, and Arizona.

Ella McDowell #3 recruit is getting looked at by Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, UCF, Mississippi State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Florida State, Ole Miss, and Arizona.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see some 2024 commits announce over the next few days. The Longhorn elite camp is tomorrow and we have had several past commitments made during the camp with player pictures in uniform with the Texas Coaches and with the Red McCombs stadium backdrop. Hope to hear some really good news!

Jayla Plotz is a 2024 and probably not on the list to get an offer but she came all the way from South Dakota to attend the Texas camp. Hailey Dolcini was in the house and obviously helping out!

Gabby Scott is Mia's little sister. Does she really have the talent to play at the level of her sister? Mia is a big part of the future success of the team for sure! These situations can sometimes be very touchy?

She could for sure be on the team at Texas but not sure how much playing time she would get.

She hasn't been offered by those schools. They can't offer or even talk outside of camps until Sept 1st. She is just that good not a single one would not offer her a scholarship. She narrowed her school list before recruiting even started I imagine just to not be overwhelmed by calls on Thursday.
