Totally agree with the first 3 of Deez's reply.
The Dems believe that they discredit every Republican voter with continuing to keep Trump in the news. This also provides a nudge to the dem voters to be sure and vote (or be sure someone harvests their vote).
This is the Dem's effort to get that Trump base to be fervent in their support for Trump. The more they object to the Dem's the more they will stand in defense of DJT and that could be enough to make him the GOP nominee. Trump's base will feel like they have the moral high ground by defending/supporting DJT but it will cost us the practical votes/power that comes with actually winning the POTUS and congressional seats. They do, but that matters little unless he's the nominee. They are desperate for that to happen. They at least think they have the book on him and can beat him, because they can make the election about him rather than about them.
They are very slowly waking up, but are still very naive. They still don't see the MSM for what they really are. And that needs to happen before there's a major shift.
NY Times has announced that Trump's been indicted.

Do I need to recalibrate my sarcasm meter?
The issue is it will not swing one vote from Independants or college educated women. Trump cannot win without those groups. Someone in the Republican Party need to grow a pair and tell Trump that they want to win so STFU and get out of the way until the election is over.I don't think the Democrats realize what they have done. To paraphrase the movie Tombstone: "You've called the Thunder, and Hell's coming with me." This will do nothing but invigorate the Trump supporters.
I think someone else needs to adjust their sarcasm meter.
I'm not a criminal attorney, but I'm pretty sure the prosecution has the burden of proof in criminal cases.
