2023 Weekly Prediction Contest Overall Results

Where have your itchy feet led you? For me the wind just kind of blew me those ways. That explains your prediction successes..you have experienced the hate for the state of Texas..resulting in biased officiating
All over TX, CA and hanging out with HIC up there.

So, sarcastically trying to keep up with the Jones',

I've lived in such beautiful places as: Fort Worth, Dayton OH, Nacogdoches, Plano, Reston VA, McKinney. :rolleyes1:

Dream is to retire in or around Fredericksburg, Kerrville or Marathon!

Anywhere in the Hill Country or around Big Bend....

Four generations ago all my family lived in Plano..one of my grandfathers brothers was named Sherman..after the town. Nacogdoches is fantastic..played in an Ultimate tourney there and we win..way back in ‘85

Anywhere in the Hill Country or around Big Bend....
May I recommend Camp Wood and Utopia for the Hill Country. Marathon is way better than Marfa. Alpine and Stockton are weird.

Also of course..you should check out Ft. Davis area for a home….lots of small lots in the area at high elevations.

Good points! I forgot Alpine and Ft. Davis as good possibilities. Alpine is an allsome area!!

Ft. Stockton is definitely weird, wouldn't move there. Love the Camp Wood, Utopia area. My dad had relatives around Utopia.

I love riding the twisted sisters on my bike. I know a guy who retired Dallas to Leakey so he could ride the twisted sisters all the time.

The sisters are hands down the most scenic and spectacularly hilly roads in the Hill Country and all of Texas. I like Camp Wood the best because it’s the furthest away from civilization..Charles Lindbergh crashed his plane into a store there and stayed awhile for repairs. Go to the swimming holes all around Camp Wood to get a feel for what the Hill Country used to be.

Thanks for the prize. It is proudly displayed in my room.

What did you get for 2nd place? I suspect something like a food-stained HF mousepad signed by Dionysus!?

For 3rd place, I suspect Steve in Austin will get 2 food-stained HF mousepads that are unsigned by anyone....

I am going to win next season.
As the winner I am requesting a 7 day trip to Aruba (or whatever is safest).
I know ya'll will contribute a $150 each thinking you will win but you won't.
