2023 Recruiting - Football

Wonder if Aggy in their recruiting desperation, backed up the Brink's truck last night at MM's house?
The WOW was over the price tag. Aggy correctly read this as the red line in the sand. Aggy recruiting class will be lucky to hit top 20; and, if they do get there, it’s because they paid $$$ for 3* and low 4* from out of state.

I would be thrilled if Aggy had a poor recruiting year, and even more thrilled if they grossly underperformed in the fall. BUT… it’s only July. Way too early to count them down & out.

If UT does well vs Bama and OU… I said “well” whatever that entails, I think UT could pick up a flip or two.
I think Saban cashes in before the class of ‘23 would graduate.
We can thank Jimbo for helping him say, screw this soap opera.
But Saban becomes a UT analyst just to screw with Jimmy.
My take is slightly different. I am convinced that regardless of the “Bury the Hatchet”assessments by some, Saban is pissed at Jimbo. And Saban does not have a “Forgive and Forget” personality.” Not even close.

So my take is that not only does he want to destroy Jimbo and the Aggies this year, but he also wants to see Texas do well versus their in-state rival. Yes, I absolutely believe this to be true. Further, I also believe that his relationship with Sark is very very good.

How that translates on the field on September 10th is an unknown. But if Saban can win the game and do it in a manner that makes Texas look viable and competitive, I’m not so sure that he wouldn’t like to see that happen.

Jimbo’s gonna pay. Take that to the bank.

I think Saban feels about Jimbo the way Stoops felt about aTm when he went out and dropped 77 on them. Will Saban take his foot off the gas against us? Probably if he gets a big enough lead that he's comfortable, but what is "comfortable"? With our receiving corp, one play drives are certainly possible.

Will he take his foot off the gas against the Aggies? I can hear his response in post game - "Both of my feet remained firmly on the ground the entire game; otherwise I would have fallen over".

They’ll be rolling out a new inexperienced QB so I’m hoping they stumble this season. Sark should take over and off from there.

Weigman (sp) is their Ewers and could very well be starting the second or third game. I would like that because I would like to watch and compare Dickey's development of Weigman against Sark's development of Ewers.
