yes, exactly! We always know that things and situations can change, maybe. It all depends on the coach of any team.Me also!
Now why would I do that. YOu dont allow folk to defend or say something against what you are saying? Its really okay, youll be fine. How about you crawl back under your rock?...
ARe you a statistic?Statistics are what they are... and that's solely what the opinion is based on. FACTS. Again, I want to see Charli have success. Again, nobody can say anything about your family member even in the spirit of wishing her well without you getting bent out of shape. FOH with that BS.
I wouldn't have drafted her with the number one pick, but also think she made the right decision. If her dream was to be a professional athlete, there's nothing that she was going to learn and improve on as a player in college, that she couldn't have done with a year under her belt and a full off season without classes or other things getting in the way.Definitely should have stayed in college AT LEAST another year, and probably could've benefited greatly from an extra year as well. The short-sightedness of these players entering the professional ranks continues to amaze me. What's even more amazing is the apparent lack of vision by the more mature members of their respective camps. I mean, what's more important? Being a top draft pick bust, or fully developing at the collegiate level into a player who will have longevity? It's not like being a top pick in the WNBA makes you independently wealthy. Hell, there are potential NIL deals that can be more financially rewarding... not to mention the extra education. Again, very short-sighted.
I'm trying to find where anyone talked bad about Charli. As long as folks aren't making it personal, there's nothing wrong with critiquing and giving their opinion on a college or professional athletes basketball game.Look, best wishes to all! Yep, I'll "crawl back under my rock" as brnkj suggest. lol
Its funny to read some of this stuff. Entertaining sometimes. AT least you are not on apps playing bingo for hours.
Its all entertaining. But just be conscious. Its online and its free to read.
We're good.
carryon....
So she needs to EARN something before she is able to do something that shes good at. I hear ya.I’m not sure saying Charli went 4-5 against Egbo (a rookie in an exhibition game with no WNBA experience) and letting Egbo go 4-5 is quite making the case the poster thinks they are. Unfortunately I did not get to see that game, so I don’t know the whole story.
I want Charli to do well in the WNBA as much as the next person, but as a Dallas Wings fan that watches as many of their games as possible have yet to find myself wanting her to get put in a game where the outcome means something (which is all of them basically because the league’s season is so short).
Maybe she could do well shooting the 3 but she has not exactly been a defensive stalwart and rebounding machine to earn more minutes either compared to the players in front of her on the roster.
Not saying any of this to bash Charli it just seems it’s the cold hard truth up to this point in her young career and I’m hoping the best is yet to come because I really want her to succeed and I’d love her to do that in Dallas
Yep, in her chosen profession she sure does have to EARN playing time. It’s not handed to you based on where you’re drafted. I’m surprised that’s news to you. Get over yourselfSo she needs to EARN something before she is able to do something that shes good at. I hear ya.
A great coach will utilize talents from all to gain results. We'll see.
Well, your guy said " I'm really hoping Charli does well in the pros, but I'm doubting the probability more and more." I'm not sure what your profession is but its like saying in the beginning of your professional career, and only 1 game into the new year with knowing everything (and you do not!)....you doubt. In all actuality, growth does happen.I'm trying to find where anyone talked bad about Charli. This is why social media and blogs are insanely bad for young people. Yall get on here and bash the heck out of kids and their hopes in life.
Be careful, because not all are grounded in faith to have the mind to view what is unrealistic vs realistic. Really, not everyone believe in God to help them through crisis. So some check out because they don't have a foundation to stand on, or other avenues to help them decipher issues, or just get tired of this new social media mess. So I pray that my people do not read it, because they are both in high profile situations. I let them know that this Blog, twitter, etc., and the people in it do not define them.....just people like they are and definitely not GOD!
This is why so many people are anxious, confused, and frankly, all messed up. They read not just your blog, but the mess on social media.
Just be conscious.
Oh yes. i saw that and couldn't stop laughing. I wish you could have seen the reaction. I get it...we are good. I just saw an opportunity to express some things after the comment. no problem. I honestly wish there was a center veteran on that team. That would be great to have had a Sylvia Fowles, or someone like her on that team as a model. Just saying. And I guess cc fan missed the part of this thread where I said that I hoped Charli had knocked the piss out of Egbo during their altercation. I am a fan of Charli and want her to be a success in the pros. But some people need to get a thicker skin.
With all due respect you haven’t exactly been the best communicator of your point(s).No one ever said anything about where drafted . You get over yourself.
I am just saying to utilize in all ways. Whats up with that.
I welcome Charli Collier's fan (cc fan). But I'm having great difficulty following your train of thought. If I'm interpreting you correctly, you're trying to communicate that Charli isn't being used correctly.
Threw out a bomb trashing posters? go back and read that? not this one. You are getting us confused. lolol that was brnkj he told me to FOH with the BS? something like that. lolWith all due respect you haven’t exactly been the best communicator of your point(s).
Plus your initial response was to throw out a bomb trashing posters and saying you were gonna log out and not bother to read responses. But yet, here you still are. All over the place and then complaining we are not getting your point. If you’re going to complain how posters post, get ready to be treated in kind.

Watched that game and Charli was about to sub in but missed coming in initially because she was still wearing a necklace. I think she was in for about a minute even though Kuier took a shot to the face and I don’t remember her coming back. She was not getting any playing time before and now Sabally is back in the states. I’d be surprised if Dallas isn’t shopping Charli around the league because the Wings coach doesn’t seem too interested in playing her.Outside of Ariel, TX alum not looking great.
Despite a season in the WNBA and a season overseas, Charli doesn't look even the least bit impressive. IMO, her climb up to a consistent playing position looks beyond arduous to me. Since the return of Cowan and Sabally, her involvement is "0", and I don't see that improving with the Wings.I sure was hoping during the off season Charli caught up to the speed of the game. It still hasn't clicked for her how fast the game is played in the W. She still has not grasp she has to constantly move and demand the ball.

Sounds like she should go to a coach/team that will allow her to play to her strengths and help her improve. I surely would hate to see her not succeed.#shouldhavestayed

I cringe every time I watch a game or check a box score and she's barely played. Her entry into last night's game was delayed because she hadn't removed some jewelry... perhaps not expecting to play at all. Maybe she'll be traded to a team that needs her more.Sounds like she should go to a coach/team that will allow her to play to her strengths and help her improve.
