Good way to populate the scout team. The kid gets a free education (academic or other non-sport scholarship), gets to be part of the football program, and if he develops into a game day contributor down the line, they find him a football scholarship then.

One respected service believes that Bledsoe has the potential to be a high 1st round draft choice in a few years. So his early enrollment is very good news.

This is big. He has all the talent but is from a very small school and didn't get to play this fall after moving. Getting him for spring practice can really help him get up to speed. I don't expect much from him this spring but gives him a chance physically by fall.
