2021 Recruiting - Football

Who are your top 5 picks in recruiting that you would like to see us get that has not committed to us yet in the order of what you think is most important?
For me its:
1) Devon campbell. OL
2) Banks..OL
3) Denver Harris..CB
4) Bryce Anderson..S
5) Dewberry.. OL
And for good measure:
6) Coleman..WR
And it seems we are in the running for each one.
And i wouldn't mind getting that portal linebacker from Alabama. I think he would be a '21 though.
What say you?
Oops wrong thread.

Can you imagine Campbell, Banks, Majors, Dewberry, and Karic(sp) on the line?

Whenever I see a post here I think, dam has another little UT player transferred. Not knowing their roster, I got to think that they will be absolutely horrible next year.
Don't worry...sec and espn will still find a way to have them top 20 to boost sec SOS

I wonder why we didn't pull in any of these guys this cycle. OU picks up some nice talent here every year. CB, LB, OL, DL all seem like they could place a '21 starter potentially.
And three of the top 10 went to oklahoma, ugh. This will certainly boost their '21 recruiting class, ugh.

Do we really want that kid? Takes a lot to get kicked off the team at Clemson.

We just got rid of serious cancers, do we want to add another one?

Dabo is a no nonsense guy I could see him getting kicked off for things that other programs wouldn't look twice at. I would want to know more about what got him kicked off, If it is something that can be fixed with a change of scenery I'm all for adding him, it's just for one season.

He is worth the look that is for sure. Watch him against Ohio State, he was pretty good in that game. I'm actually surprised he came back and didn't declare for the draft.

Officially it was not stated by Clemson but I managed to find this Dabo quote ...

DK’s a great kid, but we want him to be accountable in every area,” Swinney said. “Academics, tutors, study hall. You name it. All of it. It all matters. He got himself in a little bit of a hole this summer, but he’s dug himself out. He’s coming on, but we can’t have mistakes like that.”

The assessment will be, has he learned from his mistake? Many do and subsequently become better people, and great teammates. And of course, some don’t.

I’ll say this though: Kids with a chip on their shoulders who have something to prove can be very special. One that comes to mind is a QB named Brady.

Honestly, when it comes to the education aspects, he can take one or two classes at Texas, completely blow them off and once the semester is over he never has to worry about going back. No matter where he goes, he will be there for one semester and then he will be preparing himself for the NFL draft. So if he wants in, then I'll take him without a second thought.

Athletic Department pays for him to enroll in the fall, he takes all incompletes, plays in bowl, enters the draft.
