Baylor offered Dr Westbrook first, and moved their opening game to 11 AM so he could be the first black player in SWC history.

As for Levias, there were lots of suitors, including Coach Bryant, who met Jerry in Bum Phillips office at PNG. Don't know who offered him first.
 
Hopefully Texas and Urban can get this completed in time to hold current commits and possibly turn a few around that may not have even considered Texas (in the current environment) and possibly get others back that decommitted back in the right uniform.

A years delay or interim coaches would appear to be devastating relative to recruiting and programs desired success.

What a challenge!

With National Signing Day around the corner, it appears an effort is being made to keep this recruiting class together and add another playmaker. Chris Del Conte recently picked up the phone to give LJ Johnson reassurances about the program. To our knowledge, Johnson is the only recruit who has asked to speak with Del Conte.​

QB's would be drooling to throw a little corner fade to him at the goal line. (as well as anything else that is anywhere close to him)

Hopefully OU runs out of ships this year so we can keep him...

Hopefully, Johnson saw the beatdown we put on KSU. Best all-round game I've seen the Horns play in way too long. The Horns need to do something similar to Kansas this weekend, only don't let the Jayhawks score as many points as KSU did.

Historically one game does not sway a recruit. Even more so now with social media. They have been watching and comparing notes all season.
 
2021 commit OL Michael Myslinski is not expected to sign with Texas next week.
Michigan State and Iowa pushing hard.
 
Just another reason Texas needs to move on now from TH and save this 2021 and 2022 recruits and maybe get others to come back.

Well we do have Sanders at number 3 and we have a decent shot at johnson #5, so that's pretty good.
Johnson Robinson Roschon would be formidable. Brooks might decommit if Johnson commits, just speculation of course.
If only we could have gotten some good o-linemen. Herman has to address that issue in some way. If he sticks around he needs to pursue the best o-line coach even if we have to throw tons of money at him. I wonder what type of money do NFL offensive line coaches make.

Sanders and Brooks are both likely signing with Texas next week. Johnson is trending to gaggie but he has been holdin em close to the vest so he's up in the air. No new OL offers have been sent out so it looks like a tiny OL haul this year. Look for herman to hit the transfer portal hard this spring and summer.

To whiff on so many outstanding OL in Texas this year is crazy bad...
