Another in a to long of a line of Texas players having left issues either in school or in the pros. This is a S&C issue that is going to end up bitting Texas in the *** (losing a lawsuit) at some point in the future.
Malik was one of several that left school a year too early. I am all for a really talented player leaving as a junior but those not ready either burn out early or move from team to team.Hopefully the NIL factor will keep some from jumping early unless “guaranteed” first round status.
Unfortunately, he could not learn how to play the pass (remember Strong gave up on him towards the end of the season and only played him on run downs.)
