I knew that football recruits are attending the pool party this weekend. Are some of our women's basketball recruits invited (attending) to the pool party?

Yes Texas has actually had a couple of big pool parties that recruits and current players have all attended including the volleyball, softball and men's basketball team. So it's majority football but recruits and other sports do attend.
 
Sounds like it was last on good terms. I’m sure we will be hearing from him again in the near future. Sure would like to see Lavender take some interest in us, anywhere other than Baylor…

I agree with this. We have seen that a top-flight coach can attracted talented athletes to Texas. We all believe that Vic can take us into the top 10, top 5 and we're already seeing an influx of talent. This being the case, why wouldn't we want to go take on the best? I personally would look forward to games against LSU and SC. Conversely, if strength of schedule matters, is the Big 12 where we want to be?

If I'm being completely honest, The only Big 12 games that I watch aside from ours is when Baylor is playing, so that can pull for them to lose.:D
But I watch SEC network games all the time.

Nope. I'll go as far as to say, give Vic an equal level of talent as Staley or the seahag, and we will win as many as we lose. Those two are really good coaches also. They aren't succeeding on talent alone.

Agreed... My point was that Vic's record against Staley was largely due to a significant disparity in talent.
 
The details of Cam Neubauer’s departure from the Florida program are emerging and not pretty. The university tried to keep it under wraps apparently, but finally a former player’s mother sent a tip to the school newspaper. He was abusive, racists and homophobic among the allegations. I wouldn’t look for the interim head coach to be kept on either as it sounds like she was an enabler and tried to clean up the messes instead of saying something.
