2020 Senate & House

Yes. But it is Arkansas and Alabama type people who are their natural allies. Make enough jokes about them and they won't have a market.

Continuing with the theme that this is one of the greatest election seasons ever - I give you Maine Senate 2020 where "the first openly non-binary person to run for Senate" has a new shirt out. The guillotine imagery is not for the act of becoming non-binary, but rather what they want to do with their opponents. (I read enough press to conclude this is all real, but their name is "Kid man")

As I told a friend one time when describing a lady in my circle of acquaintances, who was stridently pro-abortion, "she looks about like you would expect her to look."

She's definitely favors a 0 than a 1.

What's amazing is that 1 out of 20 people still think he's the most viable candidate. Write-ins for Mickey Mouse carry about as much clout.

Qatar's man in DC has never heard of Ben Bernanke -- somehow she was put on the Financial Services Committee

"Katie Hill, an austere ethics scholar, has stepped down from her prestigious position."
-- The Washington Post

So it turns out Katie Hill had a hacker working for her. They were hacking her opponents. And he just got caught. She is such a fraud.

"The FBI arrested a person with ties to former Rep. Katie Hill's campaign in connection with her opponents being hacked in the lead-up to the primaries.

Arthur Dam, whose wife, Kelsey O'Hara, was Hill's fundraiser during the campaign and later became her district director after she won the seat, was responsible for the hacking spree, the Intercept reported Friday afternoon.

“Dam was found to be connected to the cyber attacks through subscriber information, IP addresses, geolocation history, and open sources, including through his employer and his wife, K.O., who worked for one of the Victim’s opponents,” a criminal complaint reads.

Hill's Federal Election Commission records reveal a $500 in-kind contribution from Dam for "graphic design and website security consultation."

The former congresswoman's two Democratic primary challengers, Bryan Caforio and Jess Phoenix, were both attacked in the lead-up to the primary. Caforio, who finished third in the race, saw his campaign website hacked on at least three occasions, and he appeared to be the victim of repeated distributed denial of service attacks, according to Rolling Stone....."

The Senate looks like it could swing between 52-48 and 55-45

If McSally and Gardner were to lose, Rs should still hold at 52-48
With James 53-47
Best possible outcome as of today looks like 55-45. If this happened, Mitch would be able to act freely without worrying about the hurt feelings of Collins, Murkowski and Willard Mitt.

It’s not just that, but the Dems would know it would be hopeless. Take the Kavanaugh crap for instance. If no Collins, etc, would they try? Not worth the potential backlash. It would be all downside and no upside.

Yes, they still would have done the attempted Kavanagh hit job for two reasons. First, even if they couldn't stop the nomination, they could have made his confirmation more politically damaging for senators from purple and purplish states (guys like Pat Toomey, Cory Gardner, etc.). Second, they wanted to polarize the nomination to amp up their own base going into the 2018 election. The only reason it didn't work is because Ford's allegation ended up being so weak and unsupported that even the liberal base didn't believe its own ******** anymore. It claimed to, but it didn't in reality. It's hard to truly get excited about something you know to be a lie.

So the House finally took some action today
They passed a bill to ban lynching.
What a giant waste of time and money they are
Shame on them

A nonprofit in Philly opening an "open heroin injection site"

Just round them up and put them in a fake city downtown environment with rehab and other facilities to help them behind the facades. They could offer subsidized office space for new companies to make it look real.

Democratic Rep. Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts is challenging MA Democratic Senator Ed Markey for the United States Senate seat he has occupied since 2013.

Markey has the backing of many established figures in the party, but Kennedy has opened a lead according to a new poll.
MA Senate 2020: Rep. Joseph Kennedy III Opens Lead Over Incumbent Ed Markey
So is Markey not progressive enough? Or are people in Mass still in love with the name?
Malarkey has been a global warming shill for decades. He is a guy that can play only one thin tune. Don’t blame Mass for replacing that useless blowhard.
