But to be clear, he was never a part of any team except UTSA, right?

He had a scholarship to UTSA but everything went bad before he ever made it to campus. If he had, his eligibility would have expired by now.But to be clear, he was never a part of any team except UTSA, right?
So how does one get into the portal if one is not on any current roster? Seems that person is just out there like any potential walk-on.He had a scholarship to UTSA but everything went bad before he ever made it to campus. If he had, his eligibility would have expired by now.
Another WR miss by Coach Meh. He is from Rockwall
here's a new idea. how's it going to affect recruiting if the dead period is extended thru 4/15/21 due to the covid pandemic? UM or anyone else can't contact any players. How will Texas reel in these players? Isn't the official signing day in February? Is it now illegal to contact thru two signing periods?
Right. Soooo how would changing coaches benefit Texas at all? I guess once May hits Meyer? would have recruits piling into Austin....Most players will sign in a week and a half.
IF things go South.....what could go wrong???Apparently it will be open season for anyone to transfer with no sit out after January. Any D1 athlete will have the ability to transfer one time without penalty.
NCAA One-Time Transfer Rule Expected To Pass In January, Opening Up A Floodgate Of Transfers
My first thought is: "that's crazy, teams will be stacking"Apparently it will be open season for anyone to transfer with no sit out after January. Any D1 athlete will have the ability to transfer one time without penalty.

Wipes out a QB room though in a hurry....My first thought is: "that's crazy, teams will be stacking"
But then I thought, with a new coach coming in this could be really good for Texas.
I think it's more likely to be good for Texas rather than bad. Players will be happy to play for UM, a fresh start.
And it wouldn't be crazy-all out stacking cause players will be leary of going to a team with too much talent at their position because they will want to play.
Like covid, this is weird.
Hmmm, didn't think of that.Wipes out a QB room though in a hurry....
We got that covered with J Sanders. He's a studEdge rusher, that is our biggest need with the loss of Ossai. After thrashing Colo that’s IMO, is our biggest need on the DL.
Where they play him will be very interesting. He could probably also be the best TE/H in the country by his second season. We got that covered with J Sanders. He's a stud
Was projected as a DE by the old staff. Sark may want him as a TE.Where they play him will be very interesting. He could probably also be the best TE/H in the country by his second season.
I think Sark may look at what Pitts did at FL and see Sanders had that ability to be a complete game changer at TE.Was projected ss a DE by the old staff. Sark may want him as a TE.
