2020 Recruiting - Football

or you could be Ag and guarantee 10 yrs at $7.5 mill per yr; they will have to honor that when he is removed in a few years.......

Texas will come out of this mess or you start over. I absolutely believe that the vast injuries to D and early injuries to RB's have been a major reason for the season.....yet, coaches have to held accountable for performance even when they are down to 3rd players on depth chart in several positions. It may take yr 4 or 5 but they will be back.

How many tams can sustain top level performance when faced with the adversity of these missed games due to injuries?

If you have the flu and can't get out of bed, should your work performance be evaluated the same as when you're well? If you supervise a team of people, and your best producers are out sick or on vacation, would you see a drop off in productivity with your lower tiered personnel or would those lesser employees magically become better workers?

Well it's my contention that the scheme we use on defense, the 3 man line, forces our secondary to make most of the tackles. Factor in a lack of QB pressure and it's hell being a DB in our system. So our injury status is on the coaching, not completely of course. That's what I think.

They are on the bench for a reason, but as a leader it would be my job to adjust my strategy to better fit my bench player strengths. In other words give them tasks they are better at performing. It's really not complicated to change things up to better suit the players you have.

boh....! You are probably right that this discussion of several days regarding coaches should be on OTF and not any recruiting thread. My message was a followup to other post yesterday regarding CDC and salaries. Feel free to move them to proper area.

CDC told me we are about to get two new commitments, so take it for what it's worth.

See my post in In the stands, I actually got a call from him.

Collins is my guess.

lots of smoke that Collins is going to Waco for the game this weekend -- that is two Waco games in a row. Smoke signals are that he has one more OV and it will be to Waco. Currently, rumors have OU now leading though. :cursing2:

So why is this post in the 2020 Texas Recruiting thread? Please observe the topic of the thread before you post.

Chandler is #1 in AZ and #17 in the nation and 2 levels above Salpointe, 4A vs. 6A.
Yes, the article said his team had no chance of winning. His team also had 5 turnovers in the game. Probably a frustrating game that he would rather forget. Yet, they lost only by 8 points.
