2019 Recruiting - Football

my twitter interpretation skills are somewhat limited but I am going with five shhhh symbols mean we got five guys on the verge of committing. OR it could be we just bagged a five star kid, OR three five star kids! Who the hell knows ... but for good luck, here goes :hookem::hookem::hookem::hookem::hookem:

Or five, 5-star kids and 5 hook'ems: one for each?

Greg Davis did beat Nederland, but I was hoping when he went to McNeese, he wouldn't come back across the Sabine

To say that the Big 12 is even on the same planet w the #SEC is straight crazy. The elite players in Texas totally understand. #SEC

Brewster's been drinking water from the Brazos again...

While I cannot expect to get into the heads of seventeen year olds, Brewster’s tweet has a feel of desperation to me. They just got their clock cleaned — regardless of the circumstances, i.e. first year coach — by their # 1 rival and my guess it that they are nervous. Herman and his staff are plugged into Texas. If our record this season approaches or exceeds 10 wins, we could see desperation from those losers to the east.

That would please me...

On the contrary, ags think Fisher did better than Herman in his first year recruiting and is on course to lock in a top 5 class last year.

Brewster was a pretty strong recruiter for Mack. But he is older now, and he has a far inferior and far more goofy product to pitch to recruits these days. Will he be equally effective for Jimbo? I have my doubts, but I won't completely discount him yet.

Give it 3 cycles of aggy finishing no higher than 3rd in the $EC West and the best recruiter in the world will not be able to help.

lol I think that tagline is funny...

aTm - the more goofy product

2 of the 5 North Texas recruits have committed elsewhere.

Despite the visit, we did not make the final list for LB Marcel Brooks, No. 15 in state
Another top North Texas kid walks away from Texas. However, the Bishop Dunne kid who committed to aggy would have a lot more creditability if he was at Jesuit and played in a 6A UIL district.

I'm sorry, but what is this list and who compiled it? Is it really supposed to be the Top 15 Texas HS players in the class o 2019?

2 from St Pius
1 from Bishop Dunne
1 from Nolan
1 from Prestonwood

Occasionally a private school kid sneaks through, but five of the top fifteen being from schools that play zero competition? Whatever 247 is, somebody needs to be fired, unless that's Chip Brown and/or Bobby Burton, in which case - "enough said".

Two words for those that think this list is real - "Conner Wood"

I might be wrong about Brooks. He tweeted out Bama and LSU, and I thought it was clear he meant those were his final two. But someone else says he is coming out with a top 5 next week and was just saying those two are already in it. So, I dont know. We were in his previous top 10. We will see, as always

Also, if you did not know already, Brooks has had some off field 'issues'
