I hope errrbody includes some offensive linemen. We have 1 and maybe 2, I'm pretty sure that 1000% committed = 50/50 chance he is going to flip.

Right now I think Texas needs 5 linemen, with one of them being a Juco. I hope we can keep Shepherd but he seems to have a lot of people trying to get him to aggsy including FWK. That dude might as well be getting benefits since he is already on the aggsy payroll.

Apparently we have already identified this year's Christian Jones (project OL with big upside). We may know something on this by the weekend.
 
The more I read that tweet from Shepherd, the more I realize it's nothing but horse sh1t, I'm feeling pretty confident he is going to do a Matellus Bennett on Texas.

Do we know what position we are recruiting Bru at? What he wants to play, or just an athlete, and see how it develops.
 
McCoy is a combo linebacker/wide receiver. Seems kinda bizarre to have all those talents to a superlative level in one body, but the recruitnics are convinced.

I remember Texas once signed in wr/lb and Kwame Cavil kicked butt on offense.

I mean the guy who was supposed to sign with Texas but was secretly recruiting against Texas and screwed up a pretty good class.

Actually he helped Texas avoid two monumental mistakes, so maybe it was a good thing.

Either way, Shepherd isn't signing with Texas, he is flipping to the aggsy. As long as Texas can replace him, I don't care, and I'm really hoping we over sign linemen so that when he does flip we will have his replacement already in place.

I dont know which is his better position. I watched his highlights too and he looks good at both. Herman has said in past they discuss it with the kid, including the depth chart, the respective assistants get to make their pitch, but in the end, they let the player make the choice.

Rumors out there that Shepherd visited Aggy yesterday and that Leal visited Texas yesterday ... :popcorn: (kind of like the Bud Light commercial where they raid the other king's castle while hosting a party for him)

TFB reported that Shepherd went to Aggy monday because no high school for columbus day and "was just bored"

Yesterday, Shepherd tweets I owe an explanation to nobody, or something to that effect

I say enjoy the recruiting process but don’t be a punk towards people who offer you opportunities. These things have a way of coming back to you in some way.

Agree 100%. I never could be a silent commit or a commit that "looks around." I prefer the "all in" approach. Be a leader and help recruit for my team would be my approach #D.Floyd #R.Johnson
