AOC is complaining that our Family Leave is the worst in the world. So if I get this right this is what she wants:

^Good points. Mr. Deez. Hope they get offset by what appears to be a general satisfaction with the state of the economy under President Trump. If the people vote their pocketbooks, it looks pretty good for the Pres in 2020.

Quite the story. The St Louis prosecutor in this case is very likely going to end up indicted for suborning perjury and conspiracy to drive the Missouri gov out of office. Former FBI agent indicted.

I googled this story, and the MSM stories don't seem to specify or even try to specify why Gillum was getting a hotel room with two dudes. Who are these guys? Are they friends Gillum's? Well, apparently the guy who OD'd was a gay male "escort" who posted pictures of his junk on the internet. Link. Hmm, three guys (one of whom is naked and an escort) and a bag of meth for each of them? Nothing suspicious about that. Sometimes that just happens when you get a hotel room. You expect your wife and kids to be there with you, and out of nowhere, they're gone and a gay escort and a dude with meth shows up. Don't you hate it when that happens?
What if Gillum were a Republican? Every sordid detail would be front and center. They'd be very quick to jump to the conclusion that he was there to be the middle car in meth-induced man-train and understandably so. Furthermore, every other Republican who had ever said anything nice about him would be asked about it.

Sometimes I think the Chinese media cant be as bad as ours
The Chinese media can be quite honest at times. Read the English language ones. They often float the truth to the ex-pats to gage their reaction. I knew about the end of the 1-child rule approx 6 months ahead of Chinese nationals because it was clearly telegraphed in the English papers. The English newspapers is the Chinese version of Twitter in terms of readership.

I know some people criticize him but it seems to me that any Chinese who take on the CCP get heavily criticized
No I am referring to official news outlets. They tell the truth, you just need to know where to look. For example, a lot of gov ministers and academic types will write op-eds that are basically trial balloons for gov policies. Otherwise, if you are reading about corruption, etc you need to ask why is this being publicized because there has to be an underlying reason for it to see the light of day.

Gou (who used to be CCP) is one of the ones willing to criticize the CCP and will publish the stories the CCP doesnt want published, but he is in the US now (I think)

Even they can’t stand reading the WAPO and NY Times. Maybe we are not so different after all.
