However, the candidates endorsed by openly socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not fare as well.

The math for the Dems to take over the House (they need +23 seats) involves more than them just winning R-seats. They also have to hold their own seats.
One place Ds could lose are two House seats in Minnesota (which has 8 total districts ) where Dem incumbents are leaving office. Trump carried both districts by ~15 points, even though Hillary narrowly won the state overall (it hasn't gone for a R pres since Nixon).
The two seats that opened up are the 1st, where Tim Walz decided to run for Gov, and the 8th where 74-year-old Rick Nolan retired rather than face a difficult re-election. Both barely hung on in 2016.
In addition to these two spots, Rs have a good shot at flipping Dem districts in Arizona, Florida, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.

Shades of Al Franken's first election "victory" in Minnesota! Apparently they "found" an uncounted box of 588 ballots in somebody's trunk in the Ohio Special Election. A net 190 vote gain for the Democrat! Must be the dead folks voting -- again.

I think we're worried that a large block of voters will be swayed by her empty promises of freebies that she can't possibly deliver.
I heard a piece on the radio that some organization calculated that if she was able to implement every promise she has made, it would take $48 trillion over 10 years or 87% of the GDP over that period.

Do a quick Google search for Occasio-Cortez and count up how many conservative site links vs. progressive site links you get. Extremists love to talk about the other sides extremists and avoid their own. More mirrors are needed.

My bad. I may be a social liberal but also lean fiscal conservative. There isn't enough money to pay for these programs. If there is money, I'd rather focus on the national debt.
So would I. Think of what we could do with all the money that currently goes just to pay interest on the debt.

Republican candidate for a Florida House seat get's caught lying about her degree. She even displayed a forged degree over the weekend when the news officially broke. After her spokesman decried the "fake news" she finally admitted that she never received her degree, although did attend Miami U in Ohio. Her statement? "I never intended to mislead or decieve..." Uh, mam...i think that's exactly what you intended by forging a diploma. Primary is 8/28 and she's not dropping out of the race.
Per usual, Dems started it (Lena Guerrero).
She is hot though. Why lie about this? To quote Sam Kinison hot chicks can basically say, "thank you God, I don't have to go to school."

Space Force is a dumb name, but the threat that Trump was trying to address is real. Both the Russians and Chinese are developing weapons that can be used to disable our satellites and reduce the effectiveness of any military response we might make.
