2018 Senate (& House)

You will be right even though I doubted it. Woman number 2 Lindsay Menz just accused him. Expect "Moore" to come forward...

And 4 more women talking about Bill Clinton (described as "gross")

The women allege the former president assaulted them in the early 2000s, when Clinton was working with playboy billionaire investor Ron Burkle. The unidentified women were employed in low-level positions at the Burkle organization and in their late teens at the time of the alleged assaults. Clinton helped Burkle generate business and flew around the world on Burkle's private jet, which was nicknamed 'Air F**k One'

".... a member of Clinton’s legal team said: ‘Obviously, I’m aware of [the allegations] but can’t talk about them.’ .... ‘Bill is distraught at the thought of having to testify and defend himself against sex charges again,’ said a Democratic Party official who is familiar with the case.

So far today (still time for more, and there is supposed to be) --
-- Another woman makes charges about sitting Dem Senator Franken
-- Four new women make charges against former Dem President Clinton
-- Several women level charges at Dem reporter Glenn Thrush of the NYT
The MSM? It's 99% Moore

The MSM? It's 99% Moore

Checking that theory...limited survey says posters' bias not supported by the facts.

Is anyone else as tired of this D vs. R sexual harassment BS? Clearly their are culprits of this on all sides of the political spectrum. I'm OK with the pressure being put on all of them at the moment whether they get their career ended or simply get knocked down an notch.

Hmmm...the quandary of the Alabama voter in the special election.

On Sunday some of Alabama's largest newspapers (i.e. Birmingham News) urged voters to reject Roy Moore.

PredictIt Market now has Moore with a 15 point lead as the accusations have begun to fall apart

Story --
Before the Washington Post story broke, Roy Moore was almost a lock to win at 89% in PredictIt’s Alabama Senate race prediction market. After the allegations surfaced, Moore’s odds dropped to 59% that day. He remained a slight favorite over Doug Jones, who also saw a significant bump on the news, until Monday when a fifth woman came forward with allegations against Moore. On Monday afternoon, for the first time in the race, PredictIt traders had Doug Jones in the lead at 47 percent to Moore’s 38 percent.

But Moore has since regained a huge lead in the PredictIt market.

I guess this explains how, despite about 100 new Hollywood and MSM lefties accused of sexual misconduct over just the last 60 days, the MSM still covers so much of Roy Moore

Rumors of fresh sexual harassment names this week in the political world, including a ranking Dem on major committee (multiple women)....

So this finally came out
It's John Conyers, sexual predator. He has been there 50 years (one can only wonder how many victims) and is currently ranking member of the House Committee on the Judiciary.
It also looks like Paul Ryan/Nancy Pelosi may have been part of the process that covered up for him.

Congress has non-transparent hush funds for bad behavior like this for the same reason schools have rubber rooms for bad teachers.
Political parties are unions, and for all the lip service they give for this cause or that, at bottom they are most about protecting their own.

I almost replied to my own thread. This gonna be good. I predict this thread surpasses the Mira Sorvino ice cream thread. :yippee:

Come on West Mall - Let them fall!

Just something to think about with this Franken stuff, folks. Link. We are blurring the distinction between being uncouth, being a jerk, and being a rapist. They're very different things.

No settlement involving taxpayer money should ever be confidential, and that goes double when we're talking about settlements that arise from the conduct of elected officials.

The left made the damn rules. They are finally being made to live by those rules themselves.

The case described above involving Conyers is 1 of 264 settlements paid from 1997

Agree. I never held any illusion that any Democrat could beat a pedophile Republican in Alabama.

Also, the allegations have not fallen apart.
Kellyanne Conway said it best the other day when she said how important Moore's vote will be in the Senate, more so than any credible allegations of pedophilia.

Spot on. They've relentlessly spread false labels and blurred the lines to broadly slander Reps as racists, misogynists, homophobes, sexual assaulters, etc.

Now the tables are turned we're supposed to make specific act-related distinctions and concessions when their actual sins are uncovered in mass?

No dice. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

With tax payers money. :cursing2:

That will happen when every election you trot out women to claim sexual assault only for them to never be heard from again after the election. You can only piss in the wind so long before you learn that it's time to change directions.

My money being used for covering this up sucks. This needs to be made well known, cannot imagine anyone favoring this practice. You did it you pay, a*******.

Speaking about attempts to blur the lines.

“Rape used to have a narrow definition. Rape used to have a definition where it was — it was brutality, it was forced sexual attack and penetration,” Marlow said on SiriusXM Patriot's Breitbart News Daily, according to Media Matters.

“Now it’s become, really, any sex that the woman ends up regretting that she had.”

Marlow said that "leaves us without a lot of clarity."

Another swampmonster
Brady is the dean of the Pennsylvania Democratic House delegation and a very senior, hugely powerful politico in Philadelphia County/city.
The allegations include False Statements, Conspiracy, Campaign Fraud — two aides were indicted last month
