2018 NCAA Super Regionals

UNC and Oregon State have advanced to Omaha, Vandy and Fullerton won to force game three. Texas is in do or die game two while Arkansas, Texas Tech and Florida all look for sweeps today.

Texas and South Carolina have forced a deciding game three and up in Lubbock Duke has a 4-0 lead early. A Duke win means all four super regionals that started on Saturday will go the full three.

We've got game three of a very tightly contested super regional starting at 12pm on a Monday. A) no one will watch on TV because they are at work and B) the stands will be at least 50-60% empty because everyone has to be at work.

What were they thinking? It surely can't be about TV or stadium revenue, because if it were they would have scheduled a night game. I don't think it's about the kids because if they cared about the kid's they'd let those boys from Cookeville stay a little longer in Austin. Not much excitement back home I assure you unless they win tomorrow then all 23 fans will show up to greet them.....woo hoo!!!

Duke now up 10-0 so looks like 4 game three's tomorrow. Deciding games in Vandy-MSU and CSF-Washington series are now both underway.

As for game time tomorrow, it is tv based and ESPN is in tank for SEC so you knew that the two SEC game game three's would be the prime time games. Had Texas gone to Ole Miss I guarantee all three would have been 7 p.m. first pitches.

I wonder how many people are going to call in sick tomorrow or take a vacation day. :smile1:

Throw your anger towards ESPN who doesn't care about any of the points you raised.

Mississippi State and Washington both win on road on game three to make it to Omaha. Four game three’s today for last four spots in Omaha.

Texas wins 5-2 to become fifth team to punch their ticket Omaha. Texas Tech is underway against Duke up in Lubbock, would be nice for Big XII to have them advance.

Horns Super Regional record is now 9 series won and just 1 series (TCU in 2010) lost. In game three of super regionals the Horns are 5-1.

Yep at home and on the road. That TCU loss was a real punch in the gut too. Felt like we should had that one.

Plus it would be B12 vs SEC on that side of bracket.

Red Raiders up on Duke 6-2 in the top of the 9th.

Looks like Tech is about to punch a ticket to Omaha.

Tech punches its ticket with 6-2 win. Meanwhile piggy has a 7-0 lead after 2 and looks to be the Horns opening round opponent in Omaha.

Florida is last team in beating Auburn in 11 inning 3-2. Big XII/SEC bracket on one side in Omaha.

Home teams went 4-0 yesterday in game three after the home team lost both game three's on Sunday. Overall home teams went 6-2 in the supers. Conference breakdown has 3 SEC teams advancing, 2 Big XII, 2 Pac XII and 1 ACC.

When there's a will, there's a way. I was surprised the stadium was as crowded as it was. Horn Fans know the meaning of the moment, and it being 3 years since our last trip, they showed up. I did have the same feeling as you when I saw the schedule but I was able to make it work.
