On the bright side, I don't have to hear Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, Jeannie Zelasko, and the rest of fox's butchering of a baseball game for a while. Bud Selig was also booed a la Bush.

Well, Philly was clearly the better team who got more clutch hits and made more of the opportunities in front of them. Better pitching and better bullpen.

The Rays are young, and if they don't sell the team off in parts (like Florida), they should have a nice 3-4 year run.

What a terrible WS, and even more terrible way to end it. Congrats on figuring out a way to f up the greatest game yet again, Butt Selig. When are we going to get a commish with a spine?

I will definitely miss the Lewin/TAG Ranger broadcasts, but before we all know it, spring training will be back upon us.

I didn't have a dog in the fight, but must say I was really pleased to see Lidge have a great season and an even better WS. He's a standup guy and it was nice to see him put the 2005 post season and his slide through 2006 and 2007 behind him. Couldn't have happened to a nicer ball player.
