Here's a new film on UT's first commitment of 2012, Connor Brewer. You won't want to miss it. Check out
video

The play at 2:34/35 I dont think I saw once at Texas this year. Reminds me of what Drew Brees does. Quick snap, over the top boom.

He nailed some bombs too where the receiver didnt have to stop or slow down 30/40 yards down the field. Man Id love to see that at Texas.

This kid WILL be a Top 5 QB in the country when all the clinics are over with, if he isn't all ready! I can hear it now coming from our 'Friends' to the East... more BOMC!!!

Things I liked about the video highlights of Brewer:
1. Great arm and accuracy.
2. Hits receivers in stride to allow them to make a good play.
3. Good mobility for a pro-style quarterback. I don't know if he's more mobile than Bradford, as another poster suggested, but he can run if he has to.
Things I don't like:
1. Sure he found the open receivers ... but in college he won't often have even one receiver as open as the fourth most open option he had on the plays I watched in Arizona.
2. His delivery and motion didn't look as quick or polished as Aaron Rodger's did on Sunday. Kid will have to develop to win the Heisman Trophy and then become an All Pro.

Keep in mind that receivers being open has a lot to do with the receivers and DBs, and less to do with the QB. This is why Coach K wasn't invited back to the party.

He looks like he could really excel in Harsin's offense. With a little help from Harsin, Major, and Wylie, he should be off to the races!
