Obama already coming in ahead in Virginia. Pubs too close to call.

This is fun. Takes the edge off waiting for the football season to kick back up.

Unfortunately some stupid *** judge in Maryland ordered that the polls stay open till 9:30 PM ET, which means we wont know any results from MD for awhile.

I'm in MD, and the weather is icy, but no snow. About 15 degrees out. Not horrible weather by any means.

MD will go heavier to Obama than Virginia did. Virginia has a bunch of racist rednecks in teh appalachians (western virginia area) who are voting against Obama. Maryland doesnt have that same contingent of transplanted sooners that Virginia has.

Who knows? its almost a month away and lots of things seem to be changing there....endorsements, etc

There are also some things that favor Obama there like this from the WSJ today

Those polls are going to change a lot over the next 3 weeks or so

and some close to Clinton think she has to not only win both Ohio and Texas....but blow out Obama there. I dont think she can do that. I think he actually has a good chance in Texas

Tim Russart just talking about how Texas may fair for Obama better than some think....for the reasons many have talked about here in various threads

Obama got nearly 60% of the female vote in VA too

looks like he is starting to eat away at Hillarys base

In listening to Hillary give her rally speech to the folks in El Paso she spews as much or more ******** as many people try to pin on Obama. I'm not convinced any candidate can back up what they claim they can do, but at least with Obama it's believable - even if it's not clear he can accomplish what he's campaigning to do.

Hillary has almost no chance of winning more delegates in Texas then Obama. I'll post number later on, but I've been doing the math. Even if Whites go 60% HRC and Hispanics go 4:1 HRC, the delegates work out to a tie and that is before the caucus.

Obama is posting monster wins here.

Virginia: 29 points
Maryland: 27 points
D.C.: 51 points
