#11 in the AP

Texas moved up to #11 in the AP poll. Oklahoma dropped to #4, Baylor moved up to #6, A&M moved up to #8. Oklahoma State comes in at #18, and Iowa State at #25.

This is a wild beginning of the season. So many of the top teams have been beaten already this year.

I just read where Virginia who beat Tennessee and then lost to Old Dominion whom we beat (handily) beat Colorado tonight 77-43. I saw Colorado play Colorado State the other day and thought they looked pretty good. I guess they had a really OFF night!

How can Baylor be undefeated and have beaten Stanford by 16 points and be ranked BEHIND Stanford? The polls can be so frustrating. Give the girls their due!

How must it feel for Coach G to have Texas ranked higher than Duke after one season and 5 games of taking over as the coach here? Who would have thunk it?

After Sunday's game and then watching Ou vs NC online, TX is pretty good, Final 4 good. It is a long season, but we are firing on all cylinders, and the difference between the starters and the bench is minimal. Kat Nash is a bona fide star under the radar. Earnie W is a the terror of a passing lane. The frosh are fantastic, and when we win a close game, I will drink the kool aid in earnest. I am willing to predict 15 - 1 in the Big 12, only loss in Waco. The future is here and we are it!
