100 Day Countdown to Kickoff

# 84 DB - Tom Campbell.... along with the late Fred Steinmark and the late Danny Lester.

Campbell sealed the win of his last two games in a Longhorn uni (70 Cotton Bowl and the Big Shootout) with interceptions. The story of DKR commandeering the football Campbell intercepted from Theismann near the end of the Notre Dame game is a classic.

I'm trying to remain positive and optimistic during these very trying times.... I'm sure many of you are as well.

I remain hopeful this fall the Horns have: 1. a season, 2. a successful season 3. a season not dealing with team fractures, distractions and lot's of drama.

I want us to remain supportive of the team / program. However, I'm not sure this lonely little thread out in cyberspace is really going to provide much support.

Anyway.... unfortunately, I'm losing some enthusiasm for this thread, but I will continue.... hopefully many of you will continue to contribute.

Agree with Worster. The only drama that I want to see is who are the other 3 CFP participants going to be.

I'm sorry for being a party pooper as well but I'm completely disinterested in this coming season. I actually don't care if there is a season. Im more interested to see what attendance looks like.

He might be thinking, do I really want my two sons to go to UT now after all the BS?

Who knows. The players that come here or stay, may see opportunity to move up in the depth chart with the holes left by the malcontents that are leaving.

Me thinks I remember DT Steve BAM BAM McMichael wore #76 maybe as a Freshman before switching to #99?

All you Horns football history experts riddle me back if I'm wrong!
