SEC Tournament

While I don't TOTALLY disagree with Clairupt that our offense struggles at times, I'd like to point out that the majority of the games in the conference tournaments have been lower scoring and close. I don't think it's any coincidence that games get tougher to win toward the end of the season. To begin with there's the issue of both physical and mental fatigue. Additionally, there's a lot more film of each team to scout and game plan for. That said, I don't see a whole lot that we're struggling with that most others aren't.

OU shooting 50% from the 2 but 13% from the three and they just keep chunking up the threes giving SC the ability at transition offense. I am just not a fan of that game. But that’s me. OU can do OU. Maybe the three will materialize in the second half.
 
South Carolina putting it on Oklahoma 44-28 at the half. OU coach subbing out 4 starters early in the first quarter when the game was still close was all she wrote for the Sooners. She may have done that all season long, but it sure didn’t go so well this time.
South Carolina looking like they want Texas in the championship game to avenge that conference loss.
Let’s take care of LSU first and we’ll see what happens tomorrow.

Each season, I’m always intrigued by this stat: how many Top 10 teams are also Top 10 in three point shooting? This year, the answer is one: TCU.

UConn is 19 and OU is 26. After that, the remaining 7 top 10 teams don’t even crack the top 50 in threes made per game.

Not to be confused with Three Point %. Three top 10 teams shoot the three well but not necessarily often.
 
Gonna be an extremely physical LSU team we play tonight. Texas will need to match that physicality and then some.

The tigers are doing a good job of swarming our bigs with 2 to 3 players at times. They’re also passing the ball over our inbounds pressure and going to the hole. Will Vic stay with it?

Mulkey in the ref’s ear. Imagine that. They’re not letting our bigs play at all. Taking that part of the game from us. Let’s see how we adjust coming out in the 3rd.

Lobo called it. Our bigs are going to have to kick the ball back out.
We are up by 6 while getting nothing from Holle, Harmon and Carlson offensively.
If lsu keeps playing our bigs this way we will continue to have open looks.
Who is gonna get hot from outside ??
 
Will mulkey stick with her defensive plan to stop our bigs and continue to turn booker loose thinking one player can’t beat her tigers by themself ?
Will her intimidation antics be the difference maker down the stretch?
Let’s don’t put ourselves in that position Texas. Take it to them right out the gate this 3rd period and finish strong!!
