Other WBB Games

Watching some of the Baylor vs Iowa St game and they keep talking about ISU not having any Quad 1 wins (0-8). Even more interesting to me is they have 10 conference wins but none are Quad 1 wins. About to lose another one

I still wonder if Iowa native Crooks might hit the transfer portal. No one is even talking about her anymore which is such a waste considering her talent.

I realized today that there has been no mention of the Stanford womens team/season. Looking at their website it appears that their record currently is 14-12 with three games to go. Guess they are missing Tara.

They also lost a lot to graduation and transfer.

Seeing these other top teams get beat lessens the anxiety of our having a narrow escape on the road last night. March madness is showing up a couple of days early.

I question whether Mulkey's team is a "top" team. They feasted on creampuffs to pad their nonconference record, and while very, very good, I think they are no threat to win it all. They are a threat to knock off any #1 seed they play, but I can't see them going through a string of elite teams to take the title.

Let's call them a strong tier 2 team this season, much like the level of team Vic has had prior to this year.

Good point!

Karen Aston’s UTSA team sets school record with 25 wins, undefeated at home and the regular season outright Championship. Fun watching the team hoist Aston in the air.

I've been tracking and rooting for them all season... even watched a few of their games. I'm definitely glad for KA even though she still has at least one troll on this board who really doesn't want to see Vic and the Texas WBB program succeed. 🤔

We've moved on, they should also.

The transfer of Jordyn Jenkins onto the team really set the stage for a good year for UTSA. Very happy for Coach Aston and the team.

“Winning is hard y’ll” Today:
#11 Tennessee lost at home to Georgia (12-18); #7 LSU lost at home to unranked Ole Miss; #8 North Carolina lost at home to struggling Virginia; and #14 KSU lost on the road to unranked Iowa State. #12 Ohio State lost to #19 Maryland on the road.

#’s 12, 14, 15 and 16 in the Reveal all lost today. Gotta wonder if some of em played their way out of hosting (KSU, Ohio St, Tennessee?)

Texas Tech about to tipoff against Kansas in KC in first round of Big 12 tournament. I'm guessing it will be Krista Gerlich's last game as head coach of the Lady Raiders.

Stanford went out in first round of ACC tournament and will most likely miss the big dance for the first time in 36 years. But even more importantly, Stanford plays in a conference called the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Losing Tara was a huge blow to the program but I think the move to the ACC will hurt them as well.
