Incarnate Word vs Horns

Yeah, the first run of the game came on A. Rod spinning a ball out over the SS from the left side and driving in Mendoza from 2nd. :smokin:

Yeah!!!

Triple by Borba. RF dove for it but couldn't get it. It bounced to the corner.

Flores comes in. RBI.

5-0 Horns!!!!!!!!!

I appreciate the difficulty small colleges have building quality depth at pitching, but this poor guy is serving up a platter of meatballs to our hitters. Dude must be a waiter at Bucca Di Beppo.

IW pitcher throws 2 at the head of Mendoza.

Walk.

He's done.
IW gives him the hook
Exit stage left
Hit the showers ya filthy bum
Enter some guy with weird hair to the mound for IW.

Pillott?
decent numbers
They should have put this guy in earlier.

If Pillot has some eligibility after this year, he might be one to keep an eye on. He's got some stuff.

Think this umpire opened up the strike zone a little more to move this game along. A couple of pitches were clearly out of the zone and he called them.

Connor McCreery on the mound, I think this is his first appearance.

McCreary to the mound for the Horns.

He throws fast. The alumni hit him hard.

We'll see what he can do in a real game.

Ump was giving IW reliever Pillot a little inside and up, but those inside corner pitchers were good. He jammed our guys up, and a coin-flip for the ball-strike call.
