So does that mean Rodriguez can't get a medical RS since he already redshirted? Seems to me like that would be the only reason he would play since it doesn't make sense to play 1 game if you can RS.
So, in other words Shane gets one series and Sam will finish the game. Got it!
I guess Shane needs to show something for a change. He never was the same player that he was for the first 6-8 games of his freshman year.
I guess they need to leave Shane in longer than one series so he can show something.
After Chip Brown's article concerning Steve Buechele's supposed displeasure, some might think this could be causing consternation by the staff
they need an experienced backup for Elinger next year.
Agree this game will be the weakest OL start this year especially if Vahe is limited plays.Without Connor, is he going to be able to get more than a dozen passes (that go beyond the LOS) off cleanly all game?
Maybe Shane will impress by finding an "internal clock" that let's him know the rush is coming and throw it away sooner.....
Those backup are the only ones playing in the bowl game. We will see just how good those backups are.One thing that TH needs to do a better job of is recognizing that his QB may be playing when he is a little concussed. The assistant coaches need to help him with this. I am certain this is why our QBs made some terrible decisions at times. A QB is not going to volunteerily take himself out "for the good of the team". He believes As long as he standing up and thinking a little bit he is OK to play. Don't rely on a Dr's clearance but pull him if he might hurt the Team's play. We now have back ups.
Have to do something, Williams didn't want to play.So does that mean Rodriguez can't get a medical RS since he already redshirted? Seems to me like that would be the only reason he would play since it doesn't make sense to play 1 game if you can RS.
I thought the whole deal about getting a doctor’s clearance is so the coaches wouldn’t make that decision....I guess the answer is that if a doctor is asked to look at a possible concussed player then that player is done? One thing that TH needs to do a better job of is recognizing that his QB may be playing when he is a little concussed. True what you say but the Dr.S didn't get it right after Sam became concussed or almost concussed so TH needs to recognize the situation and make the right call. Sam wasn't the best choice of QB at that moment when beuchele was fresh. I knew that in real time.I thought the whole deal about getting a doctor’s clearance is so the coaches wouldn’t make that decision....I guess the answer is that if a doctor is asked to look at a possible concussed player then that player is done?

Laid up recovering from surgery and a virus,
Given Sam's history, we want Sam to play 3 quarters and then Shane to come in and not throw pics in the fourth. FIFY.So, in other words Shane gets one series and Sam will finish the game. Got it!
