Run blocking is still inconsistent - but bearing in mind that they also lost Vahe. Off season is going to be all about building those young linemen up and getting them ready to play. Wish Connor would come back but I just don't see it.

Coming into this game, it looked like a good matchup for them, esp with our DB issues

Fortunately this backup isn't going to run single wing football. He's going to have to actually run their offense, and so far that isn't going well.

We just need to not blow assignments and play smart. I can't even type "we got this" because we DON'T got this. But it does look good...

Certainly wasn't impressed with WV's defense in the 1st half. Both QB's moved the ball at will. Only penalties kept it from being 28-0. Let's hope their defense stays in the locker in the 2nd half.

Say what you want about playing a QB-less WVU team, but I think the fact that we're up 2 scores on the road at halftime with a bowl appearance on the line is pretty serious motivation. We need to take those baby steps if we're going to get back to the 1998-2009 style numbers.

Somehow I doubt that it was simply that Dickson wanted a chance at another mammoth punt...although this coaching staff might just have bought into something like that.

The 3rd quarter is such a weird hurdle for our teams to overcome the past few years. Strong was .300 in terms of beating the opponent in the third quarter. I was hoping Herman would keep it around .500 at worst.
