After Muschamp & JM, they can’t afford ‘strike 3’! They won’t roll the dice wth Charlie or the toxic Kiffin. Mullen would seem a logical choice, but SEC-to-SEC is not always a sure thing (see Muschamp). Who’s out there from the Saban tree?
 
Talk about a short leash. The guy was 22-12 and won the SEC east at least once. They went to decent bowls both of his full seasons.

Butch Jones will be fired at Tennessee. Sumlin will probably get the ax. Florida needs a coach. LSU has a first year coach. SEC chews 'em up and spits 'em out.
 
Apparently McElwain made some comments after the Georgia game about "death threats" he'd received, which the Florida U. Admin. didn't know anything about. When they asked him for details, he refused to give any. They assume that he's lying about the threats. They're going to try to use the false accusations to get out of paying him the $12.7 million buyout they owe him.

Willie Taggart is the most logical. and likely the best choice for Florida.

People forget how many years Florida waited for success in football, and for their first SEC Championship.
