Texas A&M Regent: Schedule Texas for 'cupcake' football game

Not from a fan, from a regent. Unreal. This is why I despise these hypocrites.
Buzzbe, your Ags play Ball St, Neveda and Western Carolina while UT played two top 25 teams in non conference.
Buzzbee is a stand up guy, disappointing someone in a leadership position resorts to this childish behavior.
Thank goodness for that last game.

Tony Buzbee, one of nine Texas A&M regents, posted on Facebook that he would advocate for the Aggies to add the Longhorns back on their schedule because they need more "cupcake" games, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
"I am going to advocate that the Aggies play Texas again in the near future. Because of our brutal SEC West schedule, where we play the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, etc., the Aggies need some cupcake games to rest and heal. In my view, Texas is just as weak if not weaker than the non-conference games we play, so we may as well play them."

Actually rather liked Sherman. He would later be given his pink slip while parked in the car in driveway of a recruiting visit somewhere in Texas... typically aggie move.. like this latest..

 
Never fails, every year. Ags start fast and beat creampuffs, with the occasional overrated team. All the gomer douches come out of the woodwork hailing their mighty resurgence. We got Kenny "Trill" now it's on , Chavis is the real deal...blah blah blah.

And just like their time in the Big 12, the meat of the conference hands them their *** and sends them back to mediocrity. It's like clockwork. And each year I enjoy their plummet back to reality and the sheep barn.
 
BTW, it's an opportune time for them to talk sh*t before Saturday. Their next 3 opponents are Miss St. (21), Bama (13), and Ole Miss (3). Won't be quite the arrogance in farmerville after that stretch exposes them as always.

Gonna be a blast watching the implosion after losing AT LEAST 2 of the next 3 to legit top 25 teams. 2-2 ASU was clearly a pretender.

Unlike the morons, Texas has already played 3 legit top 25 teams, with two more on deck. The ignorance and delusion of those people is topped by no other society in the world.

Thank you Jesus Christ Lord Almighty they aren't a part of our direct football lives any longer. Even the satisfaction of beating them was not worth the bombardment of ignorance for the other 364 days of the year.
 
This is what will always separate us from them:

We dominate them for over 100 years consistently minus 1984-1994, and we don't have representatives of our school call them out when they're playing different games.

They've had a better program for us for maybe 3-4 years in a row, with their biggest victory being the Cotton Bowl, and all of a sudden they act like they've been the daddy forever.

Let them be represented by people like this, and we'll continue to be represented by class

16-2 before October
5-5 during October

Since their first and best season with Manziel, they are 13-1 before Oct and 2-4 during. Once the cream puffs and overrateds are out the way, it's right back to mediocrity.

They left to go play with new friends. They can stay over there. Besides, every day after TG when the game was in Austin, it cost too much to fumigate the stadium to get the smell of sheep out. AND besides...SCOREBOARD! LOL!!

Funny thing is that those people are always looking for cupcakes. They left the Big 12 because they couldn't beat Texas,Texas Tech and OU, (looking for a new start). Here was their record in the Big 12:
5-11 vs Texas
6-10 vs Tech
5-11 vs OU

Now they are still the 3rd or 4th best team in this state and Would be the third best team in Mississippi. 2nd best team in Louisiana, 2nd or 3rd best team in Okla., 2nd or 3rd best team in Alabama, Georgia, etc.....they haven't really done much.
If they want cupcakes they should petition to play in the SEC East or join the CUSA. Then maybe they can be somebody!
 
I had an interesting talk with a client that is a huge UT booster this summer and who appears to have some influence in the UT athletic department. I asked him about the A&M series and he said that UT has national appeal has no problem drawing interest from programs that would interest our fan base. When programs violate commitments , UT will blacklist them. He mentioned specifically Houston and their many attempts to games scheduled. Also CU was told no thanks when they inquired about a home/home series. He said A&M was warned if they left the conference after it was understood that they would remain, that this would be the result. Also said that OU was essentially told the same thing.
