Zooey Deschanel: She and Him

Anybody got an opinion on this CD?

She was on Terry Gross' "Fresh Air" a while ago and the songs they played sounded pretty good.

She sings like Keely Smith and I'm pretty sure she would be into me, so it's better that we aren't acquainted.

Her duet with Leon Redbone on the Elf soundtrack is fantastic. I'm really glad she is persuing the music side. When I saw Juno, I really thought that was her doing a lot of those songs that Kimya Dawson sang.

I saw M. Ward a couple of years ago, but he really didn't do anything to make himself standout.

I really hope this works out for her. I haven't picked up the CD but I plan to.

i saw She & HIm at SXSW at The Parish.. it was really good. Zoey is even more beautiful and hot in person.. if thats possible. Matt Ward is also an amazing guitarist.

The album has some good songs, but nothing I would call amazing. It just seemed like they put the album together really quickly on a limited budget.

I'll take Zooey in the sister duel as well.

And from watching "Elf", I knew that she could sing. She'd be great to have sing to your kids and then once they fall asleep, you take her into your bedroom and....................
