For those at the game, did any references to the Commissioner's wildly biased and inappropriate comments get played for the public?

When I think of Lubbock Texas I think, you know, everything really does run through there - it all starts with Lubbock
It's a magical place

I've only driven through Lubbuttocks once. It was in winter time on the way to Colorado. It was about 20 degrees, the wind was howling and blowing red dirt every where. It was truly a delightful place! NOT!

McGuire is definitely more high schoolish but isn't that a typical coach speak ? He didn't say anything negative about Texas. He did try to make the team school and town more important than reality. But isn't that what coaches do.
Almost makes one feel sorry for them all

Almost. But nah

At least Amarillo has the Cadillac Ranch and the Big Texan Steak Ranch. Lubbock has some prairie dogs.

But he is responsible for his words. Those players are impressionable young men who might actually believe him, so they graduate and decide to stay in Lubbock because coach said it's pretty great and then one day they are 40 years old and have permanent dust in their nose and butt crack and everything and the Tceh sorority girl they married weighs 210 pounds and smokes Virginia Slims all day in her nasty 2008 "Guns Up!" t-shirt and the guy is just thinking damn and wants to punch the coach in the face but he's probably dead now

Agreed. Objectively- there is nothing wrong with what he said. He is their coach and was trying to reinforce the momentum they created with the win. However, if I was a Texas player I would definitely use that speech to further motivate myself to get payback this time around.

I like Lubbock. It's just so dang hard to get to.
Here is my ASSessment of the region, as a Oenophile

Havoc, next time you’re in Fredericksburg, stop by the Lost Draw Cellars tasting room and sample some of their wines from the High Plains. Good stuff.

Guy,

It's behind a pay wall, but I was there. Did the article talk about showing Yormark on the jumbotron or the Toy Story cartoon parody which was classic. Huge kuddos to CDC for having that prepared and showing both.

I got a text in the fourth quarter from Yella Dawg about how smart Sark was inserting Arch when the crowd was starting to leave, then they all started scrambling back to their seats to watch his debut.

No. Try twitter

It was great - the Comish video on Jumbotron. Don’t agree that the crowd rushed back, at around the three and 1/2 min mark I commented to wife “look at stands, 50 - 7 and everyone is still here. Believe me they were still there when Manning went in much much earlier. But it was great - like a 4 hour party.

My daughter was laughing so hard she couldn't see. Of course they had to explain to me about Toy Story part. It featured a cowboy guy waiving and telling his friend goodbye as the friend drove his car off into the sunset (music in the background).
