Hey, don't hate on frog gigging, fried frogs legs taste ******* good. Also, a gig is pretty much a spear with a little trident or other grabber type thing on the end that is used in gigging frogs. Also, a different type of gig is used for gigging flounder in the marshes/bays when the water is clear - it has a bigger tip and a barb. That is a lot of fun as well and everyone knows how good flounder taste.

I think the thumbs up aggy sign comes from the way in which you hold a gig when you are using it. Fingers wrapped around and thumb going up the shaft (thats what she said). I thought it was necessary to explain that because it shows how insanely idiotic a central aggy tradition is.
