Yellow lot

What's tailgating like in the yellow lot, on 15th (at the Erwin center)? Can u put up a tent in that lot and grill?

I have been in Yellow for four years, and it's been a blast. Everyone is friendly, plenty of room to party, and getting out after the game is very easy.

Been in the yellow lot for 7+ years. It's fun...just don't squat on my spot.

Good to know! I assume it's all first come for spots? Obviously don't want to upset anyone by taking spots. Are you able to have your car in one spot and tailgate stuff in another?

If there's green space for you. Otherwise, one permit per parking space. This lot gets pretty full of cars close to kickoff for most games. Though, I don't know how strictly they enforce this. A lot of people don't start arriving until an hour before kickoff.

Is there much green space there? Seems like it all rubs along 15th, or across the street.

There's some between the Drum and the lot. But, then, yes, most is along streets.

Are most of the areas that are "someone's spot" occupied by about 8AM or so, or do some people expect to wheel into the lot an hour before the game and have their shaded patch of grass?

Yeah, hoping that doesn't happen. I'm not giving up my spot if I get there early.
