yao ming out for the rest of the post season

OMG, that's a shame. they have to be totally demoralized.

So much for the Rockets upsetting the LA this round. And I thought they had a decent chance of doing that.

Hook'em!!!

if anyone can **** up a playoff series, it's george karl. when did yao break his foot? Didn't notice anything during the game.

You know what, I'm surprisingly calm about this. The Rockets did what they needed to do this year - get out of the first round. Even won 1 game against the Lakers.

They had a good season unfortunately it's about to come to an end. Hopefully Tracy McCrybaby doesn't blow the team up next year.

I love Houston's role players. It is the franchise players that I have a problem with. McGrady has no lateral movement and as such his D is bad. Plus he hasn't played a full season in Houston. Yao has a similar problem in that he can't run the court yet this is the offense the coach wants to play. Plus Yao's help D is poor because of his lack of quickness. We need a center who can run the court and a star off-guard to do the scoring. Probably the best option though is to trade McGrady for a big scoring 2 and maybe upgrade the backup to Yao who can play more minutes.

McGrady is untradeable, if that's even a word. His salary is too big, and he's too bad. Yao is what he is. He can score and make FTs, but on defense he can be a liability at times. He's also a great teammate. I'm sure he'll be a Rocket for life. I just hope his injuries don't continue to shorten his seasons.
