xp or windows 7?

Buying a new laptop. We run XP on our other computers. Should I stick with XP, or move to Windows 7?

7 is better than XP and Microsoft is going to stop supporting XP next year(?).

7 by a long shot. As far as Windows goes, Microsoft did well with Windows 7. I've been using the betas when they were out and the final release for the past month and have been very impressed with it.

If the new laptop comes with 7, then go with that. If you are having to pay extra for 7 (over XP), then I wouldn't think it's worth it.
