Yanks put up their usual 4 in the 1st against the Rangers. I go out, grill some steaks for Mrs. Bevo and myself, come back in, and it's 7-5 good guys. Very nice. Milly just K's Damon to end the 4th.

Rangers need to win at least one of the next two against the Yankees. A series win in NY would be very nice, and would help them stay in the races - both AL West and Wild Card. A sweep would be even better!

I damn near lost my cookies when we almost gave that one away at the end.

Angels LOST! Nice to pick up another game, even though the BoSox won.

The hitting has FINALLY started to come around. I just hope we can maintain it down the stretch.

Chris Davis looked great. His approach was like night and day compared to when he was sent down.

I think Mike Young deserves serious consideration for A.L. MVP voting. He won't be mentioned, but the guy is having a fantastic season. People are touting Jeter, but look at their numbers. Average is almost identical, but Young has better power numbers and plays better defense. In the end, I bet Teixera wins it. Youkilis, maybe?

This bullpen continues to scare the **** outta me. C'mon guys, hold it together.
