Was at the game today, in the 2d or 3rd we had a chance to go up big and the aggy 3rd baseman made a good catch but the ball came out of his glove when his glove hit the ground. Did anyone else see that?

Yes, I saw it. I was sitting on the first row in L3 and thought the exact same thing. That's what kills me about aggy's reaction to this. Umpires make mistakes all the time. The difference between them and us is that we don't assume every game we lose is because one umpire or another was out to get us. It is truly sad, what they are doing. They have long since crossed the line between reasonable frustration and unacceptable behavior.

Hopefully a grown-up can come in and do what you are unwilling to do and delete the address.

Man up and leave it on the field. Otherwise you are no better than Aggie.

Sorry guys, just saw the multiple request to remove the address but it's already been done, thanks to orangeblood. Just remember, I wasn't the one who was threatening the guy, I just pointed it out.

Just to add the other side to this a bit.

Anyone remember the Rice game in Houston this year? Something about a guy leaving second base early and us making a great catch in the outfield?

There was a lot of crying on here. Just saying.

There is a huge difference between the umpires deciding to ignore the rules and an umpire making a judgment call that you disagree with.

Really? Were there fans on this board posting an umpire's home address and encouraging everyone to "ruin his year (or life)?"

I don't recall our fans calling for physical violence to be done to the umpires in question, nor do I recall us posting their pictures, and e-mail addresses on the internet.
Fans are always going to debate questionable calls, nothing wrong with that-but calling for violence?

longhorn fans can ***** as well as the rest of them about awful umpiring or officiating.... but i've never seen a thread on any site calling for some guy's personal info, home address, etc....

the closest we ever came to doing so was ******* Ted Valentine during the Xavie elite 8 basketball game.

A few years ago a stewardess made a derogatory comment to an aggy passenger and it was posted on texags. The thread went for pages and people were boycotting the airline and writing letters.

Every time a commentator or columnist makes a remark that some aggy feels is a slight against them they get up in arms and threaten boycotts and worse.

They are sooooo insecure.

Maybe I shouldnt have posted my thoughts on this thread. I think my point has been taken ONLY in the context of the post on Texags about wanting to hurt the Umpire. I didnt click on the Texags tthread.

Anyway, point being, is we cried like babies about the bad call we had at Rice. Go back and look at the posts in this site and others. We didnt like being on the receiving end of a bad call. Pretending we didnt or justifying it by "slicing and dicing" the exact scenario is weak.
