7-37 ... looked at their schedule. Ouch !!!

Played ONE good team, Georgia, lost 18-3.

Lost 26-5/12-0/13-1 to Indiana Tech, 12-2/7-2 to Montevallo, 12-2/19-3 to Georgia State ... the list goes on.

Technically, these game today should be walks in the park, or it'll look quite bad.

Here are their wins :

Columbia Union
Alabama St (2)
Savannah State
Tennessee Temple
Miss Valley State
Alcorn State

this was the bad thing about leaving this "open" date on the schedule. once UT decided they need to have game(s) played, it was hard to find decent competition.

They're #294 (out of 296) in RPI.

We would have been better off scheduling a non-DI team, because two wins against these guys will hurt our RPI.

Ladies & gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I present to you the biggest thing to come out of Alabama A&M University.

205, holla!

The beauty of baseball is that, nothwithstanding what is happening to them so far, the AA&M guys are still fulfilling a dream of playing the game that is America's pasttime. For that they are to be admired.

15-0 Texas ... not sure, it's either the 5th or 6th.

Both of these games will end up being only 7 inning affairs.

Whoa !!! Torres just hit a 3 run inside the park HR ...

18-0.

7-3 horns.

4 run 3rd that features a Clark solo shot and a Torres triple.
currently in the 4th where Texas has already had a Hernandez solo dinger and Rupp with an RBI double, but was thrown out after trying to stretch it into a triple. gots to love the hussle, even if it is alabama a&m.

Keith Moreland said that getting the two wins is more important than RPI and I tend to agree. We had to get over 30 and 35 would be even better. Win two of three this weekend and two or three in OKC and we're there.
