he would very much approve. MIA is hardly brit pop, and has earned her stripes when it comes to protest songs and activism.

she takes a little bit of sooo many genres of music to create her own unique sound.... which is exactly what the clash did. me thinks joe strummer would be happy someone like her is tipping the cap by sampling the clash.

I really hope MIA dies horribly. I had big hopes for hearing her at ACL. That 15 minutes that it took me to realize how truly talentless she is and then escape from the crowd is a 15 minutes I will never have back.
