The other thread got me thinking that this would be more entertaining.

Kevin Costner as Robin Hood (why not get a British person??).
Collin Farrell as Alexander the Great (horrible timing and expressions).
John Wayne as Genghis Khan in that 50s movie.
Val Kilmer as anything.

Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan in I'm Not There

John Wayne as the Roman Centurion at the foot of the cross in "The Greatest Story Ever Told". In the same flick David McCallum of "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." fame and currently co-starring on "NCIS" played...ready for this?...Judas Iscariot.

Just thought of two more: Diane Kruger as Helen in "Troy" and Orlando Bloom as her lover Paris in the same film. Kruger is not a dog, but she's just a generic blonde; we are supposed to believe that it was her face that launched a thousand ships? And her acting was so wooden that both Home Depot and Lowe's were vying for her services after the premiere.

And we are also supposed to believe that she would run away with Calista Flockhart-bodied Orlando Bloom's Paris? I mean, her Greek husband was no George Clooney but, yegads woman, if you are going to start a war, at least do the nasty with a guy who has some skeletal muscle!

Mickey Rooney as Mr. Yunioshi in Breakfast at Tiffany's

--- no explanation needed here.

Harvey Keitel as Judas, Last Temptation of Christ.

---Judas with a brooklyn accent.

speaking of accents, watch Saturn3
with Kirk Douglas, Farrah Fawcett and Harvey Keitel. Keitel's voice was dubbed over by another actor because the director was upset with Keitel's brooklyn accent. It is unnerving to watch. Completely odd.

Burt Reynolds at Billy Clyde Puckett
Kris Kristofferson as Marvin "Shake" Tiller
Jill Clayburgh as Barbara Jane Bookman

In fact, Semi-Tough is a movie that should never have been made at all.

well, they could have made a movie based on the actual book. kind of like the casting and script in bonfire of the vanities, another great book but hollywood had to go pc on it and ruined it.

Jim Carrey as The Grinch, personally I think Tim Curry would have been perfect.

Sofia Coppola as Mary Corleone

Keanu Reeves in anything he's ever done that wasn't Bill and Ted, Parenthood, or River's Edge. I've yet to meet a woman who will own up to fantasizing about this goofy lunkhead back in his day, but I know they were surely out there.

What? Ben Affleck hasn't been mentioned yet? I can't believe it!

How does this dude keep getting roles? He may be the worst actor of all time. He ruins everything he is in.

I am waiting for a remake of Giant with Ben Affleck cast as Jet Rink. It will be classic failure!~

Detective Alex Cross was once played by Morgan Freeman. Now the role has been given to Tyler Perry.

Kenau Reeves as Jonathon Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula. An Army buddy of mine works as a sound tech for the movie industry. He was involved in the Matrix series and the first Speed. I asked him why Reeves always delivers his line....one ...word..at..a... time. He said that was literally as fast as he could read a cue card.

Leonardo Dicaprio - Gangs of New York
Adam Sandler - The Longest Yard. I wouldn't buy Adam as QB of Eastern Kentucky Barber College let alone as an ex-pro.

Hayden Christensen - Star Wars II and III

Angela Lansbury as Samson's "beautiful" girlfriend in "Samson and Delilah".

David Carradine as a "Chinaman" in "Kung Fu".
