I think it was in the 3rd inning last night and the Rangers just cut it to I think 7-4 against Brett Tomko with no outs and a runner on 1st base (F Cat I think).

The genius of RW has German Duran bunt him over to 2nd base DOWN 3 in the ******* 3rd inning against Brett Tomko. If we are facing J Santana, J Peavy or Walter Johnson I could see this but Brett ******* Tomko? We were getting to him all night. I understand the staying out of the double play but are we not going to get a look at G Duran? If we win that game we are 10-17 instead of 9-18...BFD.

I've done all I can to cut this guy slack but that was probably the most laughable decision he's made as a Ranger skip.

Good thing we got C Shelton up there. Now our lineup = murder's row. What a ******* waste of a roster spot.

I like G Duran, B Boggs and J Salty in the bigs. At least we can find out if they can play or not.
 
How did the Texas lovable losers manage to score 4 runs against Johan Santana thru 2-1/3 in this fantasy world you live in?
 
Granted, the Astros are in a state of flux & rebuilding after some awful drafts, personnel moves, etc. New GM & Scouting Director are on hand now to clean up the mess. But to say the Astros have no clue (Hunsicker was solid...look at TB's future w/ him there now) is dead wrong. I remember a recent stretch of 6/9 playoff years, including a WS appearance in 2005. The Rangers have never sniffed a WS & haven't even made the playoffs in MANY years. I understand your frustration with the Rangers but making false & inaccurate statements does not help your cause. Maybe Nolan Ryan, in his new position, can help turn the Rangers around & build around pitching. Ron Washington won't make it thru the summer in Arlington.
 
Not a history lesson, but what you said about the Astros was dead wrong. Also never claimed to be the Yankees & 26 titles either. Don't let facts get in the way of stating your Rangers' case, ok? I know the truth of both franchises' history. And the Rangers aren't in the conversation when it comes to winning consistently over the past 10-15 years, or frankly ever.
 
Shoulda taken Millwood out after 6 complete the other night, 100 pitches, up 9-1. Instead the glorius Rangers coaching allows him to have 5 runs scored in the 7th on his next 15 pitches. WTF? At least after he hits 102 pitches and the first two runners are on you might pull him.

A 9-1 blowout becomes a tight game they could have easily lost.
 
Did you intend to write winning or whining? Because if it's whining, then I'll take you up on that offer and my cerveza preference is Dos Equis.

winning and you'll get nothing. as a ranger fan you have nothing to do but *****. i don't get on astro fan threads and crap on them except once when i was joking and took it in stride.
 
You should consider adhering to the posting guidelines by "staying positive" rather than airing out your dirty laundry.

I would hate for some anonymous poster to notify the moderators, who could possibly ban you, thus depriving us of all of this unintentional comedy.
 
i appreciate your concern. not really sure i'm airing any dirty laundry. i also find it comical to complain about how crappy the rangers are with ranger fans. it's a common bond we share.

if you missed my sarcasm in the last email, you need to adhere to better sarcasm guidelines. you'll get nothing and like it spalding.
 
Rangers with 4 wins in a row including the last two over the A's...better clutch hitting, fielding, and pitching. It's amazing how that works!
