everybody's hitting on Rangers is hot, would be great to play tomorrow, but in reality, the schedule looks good: opens Wednesday at national League park,
this gives our guys 3 days rest, just right imo, because except for Josh, nobody is really injured right now.
I wonder if Josh could be convinced to shorten his swing and go for solid contact, singles and doubles, and not try to win the game with one pitch?
If he did this, I thing the injury might have less chance to get worse, which would make sure he doesn't have any problems getting to balls in outfield.
Btw, I like Josh in left and Gentry/other guy in center.
Starting pitching, I guess it just doesn't matter, the bullpen is getting 3 days of rest. We had advantage in LCS as well, Detroit had to play one more game than we did, wearing on their pen.
Contrast with National league, their game 6 is tonight, even with wrapping up series tonight, they only get 2 days rest, if they finish tomorrow night they only get 1 day of rest. their bullpen would be toast if they have to go 7.
We get the good end of the 2-3-2 series format, imo. I really like three games at home in a row.
if there is game 7, we have a great chance to grab game one imo. we have all of our bullpen, they have reduced for sure.
In terms of intrigue, there is the K-Rod factor, he is a Ranger killer for sure, and there is Doug Melvin, GM for Milwaukee, former GM for Texas.
