Missed opportunities so far including some warning track power. Oh well. Holland is pitching pretty darn well with a 1-0 lead. Must win IMO.

Going to the bottom of 5, the Cardinals pitcher has thrown almost 80 pitches, been wild (5 walks), and the Rangers bats have gone stone cold. Holland has tossed a great game so far-- it will all go for naught if the offense can't get going soon.
 
Not a good walk by Holland but he made up for it. Great pitching effort tonight. 1-0 going to bottom of 6th. We need to string together some hits!!

2 on via walk and 1 out in bottom of 6. Pitching change for Cards. Jackson pitched 5 1/3, walked 7, and all the Rangers could muster is 1 measly run (though the 2 on base are his responsibility). They need to get some insurance runs for Holland. C'mon Nap, you're due!
 
Good guys waste a lead-off double by Andrus in the 7th as Hamilton flies out, while Young and Beltre strike out swinging at garbage. Could've used some more runs. Hopefully, Holland can continue his magic in the 8th.
 
Holland retires the lead-off hitter before walking Fucal. Then, once again, Feliz makes it interesting, but gets Pujols to fly out to center field and strikes out Holliday to end the game.

Figured that it was time for someone else to start a world series game thread after last night, superstitious I know but today was a day to do whatever you could.

What an amazing performance by Holland. Rangers really should have scored about 10 runs and they made it way more exciting than it should have been but they get the win and tie the series.

2-2 and game five at home with CJ having a chance at redemption. Carpenter is not Verlander and the Rangers need a breakout offensive blow up like game six against the Tigers.

Will be following along from work tomorrow night.

Big game for CJ tomorrow. His future contract will be swayed a bit if he can shut down the Cards in game 5 (his agent can use the game as "proof" he's a #1 guy - which he's not). We're in a good place here. We should see C J's best in game 5

Have to agree with Danno HHD. CJ is supposed to be the ace of the staff. An ace doesn't struggle with throwing strikes in playoff games.
