i cant stand these type of games.... all my fingernails are gone and you just get the feeling the home team will put out a late victory. COME ON! go rangers!

Got to get a run (or at least a couple of baserunners) this inning so the big bats can come up in the ninth.

What a freaking game, watched it while on baby duty so no posting but baby was kind enough to be asleep for last three innings.

About died when Ogando gave up that single but what a ninth. Hamilton and Young come through after Kinsler and Andrus step up huge.

Then Feliz with two K's and a fly out after that lead off walk.

Series tied 1-1 and now back to Arlington.

I was in a blasted board meeting for the entire game, but I was able to track it on my Blackberry. Sounds like it was a gut-wrenching game--an absolutely must win game that produced the desired result. Coming back home tied at 1.

Amazing finish. Elvis was so clutch tonight. Can't wait for the guys to come home for some good 'ol homecooking. Awesome...just awesome!

Milking venom from mambas has to be easier on the nerves - but it was a nice win. Met the objective of coming home with a split. Now the Rangers need to take advantage of this and win three at home to close it out and avoid going back to St. Louis.

Beautiful game with Rangers getting all the close plays. Kinsler is WS MVP to this point (for Rangers). Nice to hear La Russa talk about the Rangers being agressive and making the best decisions. Love the fact the next 3 are in Arlington. I won't mention I have Game 5 tickets - this is way to early to project what that game could be.

What a game. I love this team, even though it is apparent Greg Davis is our hitting coach the last few games. I bet home cookin' does wonders for us. Perhaps a little help from this guy too:

While we're not all savages like Cerrano here, we need to wake up bats.

Guys, I am not ashamed to admit that I "took one for the team" last night. I bailed in the 7th because I honestly felt like I was going to die. My stomach was churning, and I felt like I was going to throw up and have a heart attack at the same time. So I put it into the hands of the baseball gods and said, "Thy will be done."

I've been a Rangers fan since Day One. No, since before that. From the day that it came out in the DFW media that the Washington Senators were moving to Texas, I have been deeply, completely and undeniably in love with this team. I went to their very first game in Arlington. I worked at the ballyard when I was a teen. I've suffered so much through the lean years -- and there were plenty of those -- that now that the team has success at the highest levels, I physically can't take it. I work myself up so that I cannot enjoy an important and close game like this.

Sometimes I wish I were more of a casual fan!

Keep the mojo going, fellas!

Rangers!!

Okay, TA, we need to work on you. You have an off day. Relax. Meditate or do whatever you do that brings you tranquility - even if it's frying up a pound of bacon and a bowl of biscuits. Come 7:05 on Saturday...you will be rested and ready...and knowing that you have NINE innings to allocate your emotions. Don't spend them all in the first inning. Things change over the course of 9. AND WE NEED YOU TO BE THERE!

Okay. I"m not a shrink but I stayed at a Holiday Inn...last weekend.

I wonder if Wash and the braintrust aren't kicking themselves for not flipping Colby and CJ for the WS. Maybe it works out better this way in that Colby doesn't go opposite Carpenter. And you can be assured the first one out of the bullpen - and early - in Game 7 will be Colby.

Hook'em!!! and Go Rangers

Texanne, I have to agree with Horn69 - this is no time for courage to fail us as Ranger zealots. All of us zealots must conjure up the very best ingredients of past mojo and bring it to bear for a few more days.
Our heroes have brought us to the brink of a World Series Championship - we must
stand with them throughout the potential agony/joy of every play!

I have to say as a Rangers fan with a slightly shorter and less sterling resume than Texanne that while it's great to see great baseball, it was emotionally a lot easier for me when I kept thinking about NEXT year. It's a new experience to watch series after series of exxcellent baseball games that the Rangers Win. That said, I love this team's attitude and courage under pressure. The players and manager Ron Washington seem to be enjoying the challenge.

My superstitions are at an all time high...I am afraid to move sometimes haha. With that said. I wonder if Cruz will get dropped back to number 7. I would assume not but who knows.

at this point my superstition says go back to Cruz at #7.

Hamilton is the wild card in our success for these three home games. He's so obviously just a decoy at this point, at least in terms of hitting HRs. I hope he has worked a newer swing aimed at hitting line drives and doubles, don't even worry about HRs.

I dont' think it's possible for his groin to get better, only worse.

I predicted for this series that it was our turn to have the surprise good outings from starting pitching, but I didn't see our bats falling asleep as much as they did in the first two games.

What HHD said +1 (with one comment below). Also, add in the fact that Texas currently is batting only 8 1/2 men due to Hamilton's injury.

"National League" baseball is real baseball. I agree with Nolan - the AL needs to dump the DH experiment.
