Woodblinds Question

BigWill and all the rest of you construction dudes:

I have some wood blinds. My new window installation has reduced my inside dimension by about 2 inches. How do I cut them down (e.g. where), or is this even possible. I know the home depot has that big *** machine to cut down the cheaper ones.

Not sure about wood blinds, but in my REO rehab days I used to buy vinyl ones from an outlet place that cut them with a miter saw with a finish blade. Clumped together (closed) before the cut.

Might be worth a try on one set, there no good to you now anyway.

Alternative is to rehang them with a wall mount instead of a sill mount.

Wall mounts are not an option with Mrs. Suttree.

In the interest of unity, I would suggest a compromise where you mount one end out and one end inside.

That would look fresh. Or I could just hang them at an extreme angle inside.
