It will be in Austin starting at noon on 3-7-09. Those in Austin or close by who can please so support the Horns. Both teams are ranked and good and even though we are higher ranked it will probably be a close match. Please go support and cheer our ladies on for this important match. The winner gets a State Farm Lone Star Showdown point plus we need to win this match. GO HORNS! FIGHT AND WIN!

It looks like the weather is going to cooperate for this competition. This is a critical point at stake for the State Farm Lone Star Showdown competition. It is the only competition this month. In April there will be 3 1/2 points to fight for in softball, Men and Women's golf, and men's tennis. I try to update as the match goes on or for sure give the final results and analysis. I will also update the Lone Star Competition update after this match unless FWHORN beats me and that is ok because I will then just simple respond to his analysis and I am sure it will be vice-versa.
