Wine storage recommendation

While we save up for that house with a built-in wine cellar, we've decided to invest in some proper wine storage. It will probably go in the garage. Would appreciate any recommendations, links or info in general; price range, around $500-750 (the less, the better of course!). Thanks!

I got this one at Costco
The Link

but it was only $350 when I did. Don't know why it went up so much. Regardless, has been a great purchase and I really like it. Just can't seem to keep it filled.

Best Buy is having a sale right now on the dual compartment/dual temp zone Danby model. While Danby isn't the top echelon in wine fridges, they make a decent product and have fairly consistent temp. distribution throughout the compartments (VERY IMPORTANT). I think it is currently $300 to $350, but only has a 30 bottle capacity or so (from what I remember).

Also, you are wise to store it in the garage given the humidity levels. Assuming your garage is not air-conditioned, it should keep the corks fairly moist over the long-haul and prevent dry rot.

A) Buy a front exhaust unit!!!! That way you can always later use it as a built in.

B) THE LINK.... The Link Especially if you are going to put it in the garage or later as a built in.

C) Dual zones would be ok I guess, but how many folks really cellar whites for extended priords of time? I do not , but I might hopd a red for 10 or more years depending on the variables.

I just saw one at Home Depot for $500 that was dual zone, held about 20 bottles a side. Dont recall if it was front venting, that is a good point though.
